QUOTE(ibexgeo @ Jul 16 2007, 09:01 AM) Nah, I say that is a very weak attempt for bot prevention but it can be good againts RMT. On the second thought, maybe I'm wrong, I can get all my relatives contact to register multiple account anyways.Added on July 16, 2007, 11:12 am QUOTE(Xonius @ Jul 16 2007, 10:25 AM) the inflation there is pretty bad, rings are rising close to double their price each day!, pretty crazy. from 1mil, to 16mil now, in less than 2 weeks. RMT only know how to inflate price when most botters were gone, and for that same reason they forgot that the vis earning capabilities in general has dropped tremendously which cause real players in this bad situation. Basically the game's economy is fu*ked up.This post has been edited by strace: Jul 16 2007, 11:12 AM |

lol
I call that lousy observation. And about the first step's in-game built technical system kononnya being highly accurate, any properly programmed bots can bypass that undetected. I don't blame of their ineffectiveness, they are after all new in this market and overlook the consequences of bot. I think they need to revise in their business strategy. As for countering bots, I have a few interesting game system ideas which can render bots so ineffective that you would rather play by hand instead without sacrificing the fun and the balance factor. Afterall, the existence of bot is inevitable. |

Being a staff/GM, instead of accepting criticism/mistake you are being ignorant to them. Such a shame.

QUOTE(Novie @ Jul 20 2007, 04:09 PM) first of all, i would like clarify. i wasnt helping anyone here but just to be fair. Hello Mr. representative from SMM,1) Maintanance took 6-8 hour by doing nothing?? do u think ur childish talking all this? do you think the only problem they need to solve is the lagging issue? how you know that they wasn't doing anything? hosting an online game is not that easy as ABC. think professional b4 you post. 2) send ticket but didnt take action? even they banned, IAH won't inform you right? 3) suprise colony war - IAH had announced that this is because of IMC developer careless mistake. 4) P2P with Item Mall - this is their company business model, is it anything to do with you? did IAH force you to pay it? you can choose NOT to play, no one will force you. don't expect everygame to launch it F2P with a lot of complain. If no income for publisher, what do u expect them to maintance the game. Sounds funny right? think mature... before posting some ridiculous comment. 5) reset server anytime - if there is problem, of coz they need to solve it asap. then HAVE to reset server. but without maintanance YOU complain, IAH fix the problem, YOU complain again that they like to reset server anytime. 6)services not improve - actually i don't think so, problem that i think is the botters right now.. anyway, this what i can said. i know they are doing everything to make it better else they won't spend so much $$ on this game. allright... correct me if i'm wrong.... 2) Lets put it this way: Customer: "Hi there there is this problem exist for a long time, why are you not doing anything?", You: "even if I do something, do I need to tell you?" lol, what kind of answer is this? You are suppose to answer like this "I'm sorry because we are lack of manpower/required to follow the protocol, please bear with us a little longer". Even berhad company must do something to gain confidence from their clients. You are not even giving hope on ironing out the problem at all, instead you tell us it is none of our business. I say LOUSY customer service! 4) You sounded like the Jerai MP -You tak suka ini game, you boleh KELUAR!. You indeed sounds funnay. Endure criticism, endure. 5) Oh yeah? You didn't backup the game database at least in daily basis eh? Rollback is not an option? The main concern here is why the frequent server reset, not you whining of your customer whining your game. Endure customers complain is one of your job, stop whining about us. You tak suka kerja kau, lu boleh keluar! LOL 6) It is easier to blame on botters than yourself, right? If bots is the problem then do something about it. Seriously, do really something about it. |

QUOTE(adelina @ Jul 20 2007, 11:05 PM) Added on July 20, 2007, 11:10 pm@strace -Don't think that you are Mr Know It ALL here pls. You sounded like i'm part of IAH or something. And if you can't find your own line, search through your old text and maybe you'll find some in it. Copying is just like not making a point of your own at all. SUCH A SHAME QUOTE(Novie @ Jul 20 2007, 11:34 PM) i'm not represent SMM anyway, i am just talk behalf of my sis who work for SMM. Meh, excuses and not a single point debunked. SMM markets IAH games in Malaysia, they do not have the authority to physically access the servers and its network machines. Busy marketing yes, busy repelling complaints? No, busy technical support? No. Thats IAH's job and they are not assigned to do that anyway. Just divert those complaints to IAH as usual okay? Boss, are you running out of reason so you come out with excuses? If yes then I'll just stop this conversation. My bad for pushing you to a corner she was damn busy working, schedule was so tight. i wasnt have time to talk to her since she start working there. that's y i know they are not so called FREE and not doing anything. i suppose to answer politely?? no... i was fed up with all the nonsense you posted up. since you are not working on it and i guess u supposely don't understand at all. u can give comment, but do u think ur over? QUOTE anyway... this is not the 1st online game that i had played. if compare to others online game .... i guess this is still acceptable... i didn't blame anyone... just can't keep quiet that u guys keep blaming that they were not doing their job... is so big different.... they were working so hard on it... instead of your word LAZY to describe... sigh... Boss, boleh tak hire more staffs? I know they work so hard with so many problems to handle but with so little workforce, I kesian lah. Get my drift? |

Obviously the rights SMM bought from IAH is just distributing and marketing GE and in exchange SMM collect certain amount of profit from sales of GE point cards. Btw, GE marketing wasn't really that fierce enough, what they do is just pulling existing gamers attention but not introducing to newcomers. Even RO during its prime time made into TV and radio before.

Issue a legal letter to botsmall or at least freeze their bank accounts.
Gravity had sued among the famous RO bot writers for bot, why can't IAH or Hanbitsoft do the same? |

Official client have safe protocol to prevent the server from overload. adaasfafad running unofficial client doesn't follow the protocol timing and force packets onto the server which causes either overload or network congestion.
