Well..on a case by case basis (and by that, I mean physical game servers' location-wise..), I'd still rather wait for the SG release. Most importantly to me won't necessarily be the community, but the 'reduced chances' of lag factors.

Plus... And I'd hate to repeat this =p The 'westernized' name is beyond my comprehension at this point. Makes you wonder if our Western mmorpg peers are really too fickle (or more obviously...lack of any) on names.

If they're going to P2P, they might regret it like what kGE and jGE did.
Since I'm new to the sgGE fray, is it really confirmed that kGE and jGE is f2p Sora? Previously I actually followed your older thread (the 1st kGE beta one if I wasn't mistaken but never got around to give that a shot), but I'm sorry to report that I might have overlooked the part.

On another note:-
Family name: Meibatsu (M+S+E team, just messing about and at level 12 =p)
Server: Caravaggio (PK)
Faction: n/a
Official forum nick: 7th-Korsair

My not so detailed reviews (oklah for POBT stage):-
1. MCC system is really a 'double edged sword'.
- refreshing and uniquely innovative yes...But encourages spawn hoggers and too much of a motivation for soloists. Heck even for squads, people tend to mess up. Which results to a generally bad inter-player communications for community building.

- makes sense for a 3p per player control play style but can be a scary mess for newcomers at stances. Gets easier in time though.

2. Graphics is great and I can say this even when I do things in the lowest settings.
- They could have make proper use of the water terrains though. Correct me if I missed that part.

3. XAI or geo terrains needs fixing.
- It's great that we can move from point A to B almost effortlessly but I noticed that on 'shallow' ground terrains, some of it are impassable for some odd reason? Can be a pain for GvG fights if it was done on affected zones. Which I dare to assume that it may be 90% of all open ground zones. Like it would be cool if musketeers gets to hide at spots to pick out their targets, that kind of thing. IF those spots are reachable anyway...

4. UI 'mau kena adjust oso' as our SG peers would it their way (bleah =p we oso the same...).
- 30% of mostly immobile windows on the screen real estate is just plain not funny.

5. They really gotta work more on char customizations. Even iSRO deals better options. We'll see...

6. Truly I'm NOT a gears whore, but for the drop rates? They're kidding us or is it coz I'm still a lowbie (for not getting to better zones maybe)? At the rate I'm getting, I can open up a mangoes' orchard or juice shop, IF it wasn't an auto consuming thing. The traditional way in beta stages would be that rates are higher. One cannot imagine if it's really the case and what's the 'standard' rates after going live.

7. I'm grateful for the a'la mini games types of quests. That's a really, really nifty way to set things apart from other titles. Can be improved but it's generally OK.

8. Haven't tried full scale or 1v1 PvP yet but I hope it's nothing ridiculous like Rappelz' PK servers (idiotic penalties for a specific PK server) and with ample 'to fight for' reasons like Lineage II. Logically can't expect anything like Shadowbane to say the least.

9. Base classes and that's it? No class advancements or jobs like privateers (pirates for hire), saboteurs, gun smiths, order of mages, dark arts practitioners, builders, gang members (fighters on pay) etc.? If I missed those too, please fill me in?

10. Any planned factions' won towns or zones? Not the usual 'castles or flags for siege', but REAL towns with selectable own NPCs for factions' winnings?

In conclusion, there is this 'new twGE upcoming features' thread at the official forums (that I happen to comment on a few..) and it's mostly covers crafting and items. All of that spells 'non p2p' depths and more item mall related updates. The only noteworthy game feature in store are 'elections' for tax money privileges (quite absurd -/-* Like how do you 'campaign' for player's votes? It's gonna be a laughable mess...)

The left one makes a good wallpaper grade smile.gif Though if you had closed in on your family, try to get those chains out of the way and 50-50 the horizon to middle of the shot. (waiceh! =p jkjk just trying to give an amateur-ish in-game photography tips)

Nah it's pretty much whoever under the Screamyx banner jen. I got sporadic yet heavy spikes since yesterday and some constant dcs at warps (though for this, I'm not sure if it's really a connections issue or XT's messing it up) at around 6pm-7pm or 10-11pm.

What's the point of this ?
GEsg is much better than this to be honest.

What's the point of playing/grinding the game when you can select lvl100 armors at the start ?
If that's the the entire point (for all Granado Espada versions), then I think it's safe to disregard whatever the diffs between the versions. It's still is...not what we can call as an involving game depth or replay value for each and every version's sake.

SoTNW is the weaker (if not THE weakest currently..) version with possibly the widest and long reaching features' changes and nerfs. That doesn't mean that even if they maintained everything to be as accurately close to IAH's version, it can save them from the p2p -> f2p progression. Due to the that they have (fortunately or unfortunately..) scores of AAA graded MMORPGs ex-players amongst the player base, which means a lot of aggressive and ONGOING outputs on game contents' 'ideas' and "Here's what I think GE should do" campaigns. We must take note that they have ample bullets to do that since the key word there is p2p.

K2N sucks in capital all when it comes to management and implementations and they'd easily bow to player pop's discontent all the same.

GE as a whole before hitting the SG and NA player bases had reached and maintained not 1 but 2 f2p player populations in separate countries (those in the know, you know what I mean). In effect, the newer countries/regions with introduced localized p2p versions will only achieve the following:-
1. The player base WILL realize that they're 'subsidizing' the future updates/contents' improvements for the said 2 countries to get those far earlier than them.

2. Although it's a standard thing, it generally means that the p2ping player bases' will and most probably not be content to set themselves up for a long p2p support.

sgGE needs to do the following to sustain a good 3 year p2p run-
1. NOT repeat K2N's mistakes at implementations.

2. Aggressive, ongoing and game client changes in addressing the botters' issue.

And that's pretty much it really... I can actually point a few more things out but I'd gather that the good people at IAH would be too uptight to even consider.
