6" or 7" is usually referring to the screen size. What matters more in terms of fitment is your DIN size. The X8850 is a universal 2 DIN which should fit most vehicles.

No, you don't have to connect to HDMI. Only if you want to use either wired or wireless mirror link then you need to get the appropriate accessory.

Yes, both can be installed. Take note you may need a dash kit and harness adapters depending on your vehicle specs.

I would recommend the Kenwood. However, its best you check the specs and maybe watch some videos to make up your mind because everyones preference is different.
