Hi, can I get your feedback regarding the noise from aircraft flying across rimbayu area? I am actually planning to get a unit at Avela, loan approved but has yet to sign SPA. Abit concerned about the noise there. I find that the background sound from SKVE is still acceptable when I went to the site, but abit unsure about the aircraft sound. Seems abit too loud especially when listening from outdoor. What about when you are indoor? And can you advise how's the frequency of aircraft flying across there? Appreciate it.

As I am planning to get a unit at Avela, I actually went to the site to gauge the noise from highway. Based on my experience camping there for about 60mins (2 separate times), lol, the sound from highway is actually not that bad (can hear sound but it is not disruptive). I think it is comparable to the sound of vehicles in the taman road. In fact, based on my experience living in terrace house, noise from neighbour's A/C outdoor unit or our ceiling fan could be louder and much more notable. During that two visits, I am actually more concerned of the aircraft noise instead of the highway. Maybe residents of SWAN or LIVIA can give more accurate input since they are in the proximity.

Hi, yeah I have heard of this too. I was also made to understand that even the stretch of taman road in front of Sanctxxx mall there suffers from mat rempit problem (although it is lesser now, I think). So my take on this is, as long as there is long nice road, these mat rempit will be there, regardless highway or taman road. Always a nuisance everywhere

Hi, yes I did get in touch with somebody from Swan. According to him the aircraft sound is manageable, and not very noticeable indoor. I think most likely just some background sound. If I may add on, the aircraft flying through there is not year long, I think about 5-6 months/year , and during this period it is not whole day long too, depending on the direction of the wind throughout the day.

I think Avela will be ready by mid next year. Any new owners here? Want to create WA group?

Yeah I think around there, based on the progressive interest charge, they already billed 65%, just 10% short before they bill for VP. Don't think so there is any Avela group yet, tried searching in Facebook etc, ntg. Maybe if there are more owners indicated interest here we can initiate one.

Thanks for sharing. I guess it is not really the best option for those who need to travel to KL daily. On the bright side, hope the upcoming flyover project in Mac 2025 will alleviate the problem a little bit. I am sure the traffic situation is troubling KK residents as well, wondering what is the ADUN or MP doing about it? I think I read somewhere before, but correct me if I am wrong, aren't improving traffic in the area part of their manifestos ?

Besides, anybody happen to know if there is any official FB group for Rimbayu residents to share genuine concerns and information? Not the one spammed with advertisements. Where I am staying now, we have such FB group, and ADUN officers are in the group as well. So whenever we have concerns such as potholes, malfunction street lights, traffic congestions, we post it there, officers notified, and eventually the problems (most) are rectified. Some are fast, some takes a bit of time. We even got have new access road (albeit small one) early this year to divert the traffic going out of the Taman. Perhaps with such platform, we can channel all the complaints here more effectively to the responsible parties (ADUN and developer).

I thought the board was erected much earlier, end of 2024 if I am not mistaken. But it was not there anymore ( taken down I suppose?) when I passed by the area last month. Now it is erected again? Don't know what's going on.
