Those are what we call cluster semiD. It is different from a real semiD e.g. built up wise and land size wise.

If really follow Selangor planning guideline,
The minimum land size for "real semi d" is minimum 40 x 80.
Already a lot of developers not following this standard.

Scarlet look good especially when it's new.
But over the time, I am not sure if painting can be done to the external wall?

No need paint.
Use high pressure water washer to clean the red bricks.

Oh, understand,
Just like those pressure jet pump used in construction.
Usually at site entrance, u can see working using this to wash tyre of vehicle before entering public road.

Red bricks is used but inside the wall. Outside actually a some sort of tiles...... go to see the actual show unit.

Actually as landed is getting more expensive by day...one doesnt have to stick to traditional way of living de...

People will evolve...same w uber smartphone and etc...people can learn to live in smaller place without scarifying their normal routine.

Cluster smd is one revolution of new way of living...in fact its not a bad concept...saved the house owners hassle to do fancy reno at the rear of the house.

Cluster Semi-D is nothing new. You can even find such design in the 70s. You want to have a little bit of greeny by sacrificing sunlight and a stuffed kicthen, then go ahead lo.

It is true many people wall their windows and have a kitchen for display only anyways.
