Well from my experience, IJM will do their best every time house owner complain about the defects. So just fill the defect form and submit to IJM.

Chimes owner here. The phase which many of you here said it's the worst in terms of built quality.

Phase 1 Chimes owner here too. I can vouch that IJM does their best every time there is a defect complain.

Throughout, i can say all my defects are settled within 3/4 weeks after my submission. Even after my unit was renovated and extension done, they are still doing the rectification for me, many months after i have stayed in there. However, this is from my personal experience for Phase 1 only. Unsure bout other phases.

Been staying here for 2+ years. Haven't encountered any sinking land issue for my unit/neighbours. Like i said in my earlier, even if there is, it's an isolated issue. Easiest, is to do a site visit to reaffirm. So many units for sale, just setup an appointment for a site visit. There are 500+ units within this phase.

There are just too many inaccurate information given here and unfair to accuse all owners/IJM on an apparent cover-up on the sinking issue.

If you ask me... I really have no idea on the percentage. Like other owners feedbacks, only for limited units. Definitely a minority as I usually do my weekend rounds within the neighborhood and cant seem to notice any serious issues.

Just look at the recent transactions within Phase 1. You think the new buyers/new owners are blind or stupid meh..... Will you buy if the sinking land is a real issue with major concern? The dumbest person in the world can also visually notice the cracks even if there is a cover-up. Who buys a sub-sale house without visually inspecting it first?

Does it serve any purpose for a cover-up here and for the buyer to get a shock when he goes to view the house? Not logic right? Common sense....  

And it's a joke when everyone seems to have a friend within Chimes and houses here seems to be collapsing anytime soon.

Except my house and my neighbors around me and other owners within this forum.   . To make maters worse, accusing the owners and IJM that there is a conspiracy of cover up.

1) I do agree with you that commercial shoplots should have been made ready sooner than later. In this case, it is rather late seeing as their first project VPed a couple of years ago. I should be moving in at the end of this year, so am not impacted as much as current residents. Hopefully things will improve towards midyear. I too would like to hear updates of the commercial developments there.

2) Personally, I don't mind the drive down to KK, I'm ok with drives. But yes, highway access is one thing that is supposed to be part of their masterplan so hope this is sorted out soon.

I usually leave at 6 - 6.30am also jam already the first roundabout till the 2nd roundabout.

this morning, I tried leaving at 8.40AM the traffic was quite ok at the first roundabout but kesas jam..really facepalm.
