You will need to check with your building astro guy. There is something that needs to be there to ensure you get clear HD. My building was built before HD was introduced so my building astro guy had to install some device to ensure I get clear HD.

QUOTE(spreeeee @ May 25 2016, 02:42 PM) thanks.. that solved my misery.. else i cannot proceed to get ppl to install my build-in tv cabinet if the port is not astro ready, need to do hacking and wiring for astro point.. If you gonna install a cabinet, you better get an astro guy come to test it first. If you need someone, I can recommend this guy who did several of myself places. He is good. Autorised astro of course |

Don't forget to instal network cable too before the built in TV cabinet.
Streaming media contents via internet router is the trend now, therefore your modem and router are very likely to be placed at the TV cabinet. |

For my landed house, the Astro once came and say, the original cable ady can support it (but didnt mentioned can support HD or not).. At the end, he still do another wiring foc for me from roof till TV, with the additional cable inside the cover.. No hacking of wall or anything, he ll use back the original pipe..
