You will need to check with your building astro guy. There is something that needs to be there to ensure you get clear HD. My building was built before HD was introduced so my building astro guy had to install some device to ensure I get clear HD.

Oh you mean landed? I think can. Last time my landed came with these prewired too was able to get HD without new cables. At the roof they will connect to your dish

It's just a cable with nothing at both ends

It's just a 75ohm coaxial cable, suitable for both astro and tv antenna.

Bro if you need to move to under the stairs, you need to do the cabling first, so need Astro people to come see how to lay it before your cabinet guy fix the cabinets.

Don't forget to instal network cable too before the built in TV cabinet.
Streaming media contents via internet router is the trend now, therefore your modem and router are very likely to be placed at the TV cabinet.

For my landed house, the Astro once came and say, the original cable ady can support it (but didnt mentioned can support HD or not).. At the end, he still do another wiring foc for me from roof till TV, with the additional cable inside the cover.. No hacking of wall or anything, he ll use back the original pipe..
