Dunno my Switch Alpha 12 battery lasted me 3-4 hours instead of proclaimed 8 hours, and I just surf the internet only and use Office Suite only.
If student I will highly recommend Mix if stylus use.

Hinge not durable enough is common, because it is Surface style one without the "Wristband hinge" sadly.
you can push it down with ease if you writing like tablet.

i am currently oversea and asked my fren to buy switch alpha i5 8gb 256gb while he is in KL lowyat. at 1st, i tot the keyboard isnt backlit, bcos i saw a youtube unboxing of this unit mentioning tat the keyboard isnt backlit  and i am kinda disappointed. but then when i got my unit (few days ago) (i know switch 5 is coming soon), i am surprised tat the keyboard is actually backlit  not disappointed at all now  Malaysian unit
