Mine is Huawei Mate 8. I check mine, after change to Japanese language, all the menu will be in Japanese language.

As for the keyboard I'm using Simeji keyboard to type Nihongo(Japanese language).

Go to setting, language and input, Samsung keyboard, add additional language.

Malaysia set. No need root. But need to download first.

But only for typing. Menu still in English

I think no option without root.

That is why have to choose a phone with the language already built in...

Anyway, confirmed Huawei got. My Mate 7 also got. So got 1 option now.

Well if richfag then no problem. Huawei got japanese. Usually Japanese like iphone. Maybe just buy iphone. Most probabbly got japanese. but you need to check first.
