yes, higher number faster card and more expensive

4 to 6 series is same, 4 older and 6 the newer

and to add to your confusion 6 series is old now, amd latest now is R9 series

you can see the list of all amd cards below

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_AMD_g...rocessing_units

Thanks for the explanation. There's a lot of consideration on GPU. 5 series still can be better than 6 series cards right?
R9 is like so expensive.

it always goes like this for example high end card in 5 series will be midrange card in 6 series

if you want new and cheapest worth buying cards, amd r7 360 and nvidia gtx750Ti

more lower range card to me not worth buying, better to just buy used older much faster cards

Those are like RM500++ cards right? Maybe in the future I'll venture into that range. For now, budget cards are for me. Might just get from Mr noobz4ever if he offers me a lower price brows.gif

Maybe can try s-video to audio jack. Would be easier just to get a cheap HDMI gc and HDMI cable.

You cannot use Hdmi and audio in at the same time. It's either 1 only.

Svideo is from your gc, then the audio jack to your TV, but I think most HDMI TV don't have that jack too...

oh, this could actually work. never thought of it but too many wires involved. A solution indeed.

It can't be. I had a gigabyte hd4850 with DVI to HDMI and I get audio from the HDMI as well. Some like Intel mobo DVI maybe can't support audio out but ATI aka AMD had done it ages ago.

I don't think so. How did you get DVI to send the audio signal?
