Would appreciate recommendation on the quietest laptop or desktop that does not produce any sound. Not only fan sound but any sort of humming sound. When the computer is switched on, it must be dead quiet as it will be used in a music system. In late night listening with a quiet background, any sort of noise from the fan or anything must not be heard.

Currently I have a desktop and in operation the fan noise is easily audible especially at night when everything is eerily quiet.

if u got more higher budget u can have a look on MSI notebook or MSI desktop but the desktop price is high...MSI notebook is good coz i'm using it now.

Using XPS 13, fan would not even run unless u game. Normal surfing /k/ and all total silent, even using it on sofa. No money then go for Asus UX series
