Big spenders Arsenal agree Mustafi and Perez fees Arsenal have finally acted decisively in the transfer market with fees reportedly agreed for Deportivo La Coruna striker Lucas Perez and Valencia centre-half Skodran Mustafi. Perez – who scored 17 La Liga goals last season – was seemingly on the verge of joining Everton when the Gunners moved for the Spanish striker who can play either up front or out wide. Valencia had been reluctant to part with Mustafi but it seems the German has been allowed to leave for a hefty fee second only to the £42m paid to Real Madrid for Mesut Ozil. Granit Xhaka arrived earlier this summer for around £30m while Rob Holding was signed from Bolton for £2m. Quite how that takes them close to the claimed £100m remains to be seen. Lol. Arsenal and big spender in the same sentence, never thought I'll see the day.... This post has been edited by dagnarus: Aug 26 2016, 06:45 AM |

Anyone else watching the game now? City is scary good.... And to think that they are just getting used to Pep's method.... Super fast short passing game. With a lot of pressing..
At thisbrate he ia going to turn both stones and Sterling into world class players.... Amusing to see how calm and composed caballero is with the ball at his feet. Almost felt like for Pep, the most important attribute for the keeper is composure. Handling comes second..... Frankly Arsenal has its work cut out this season. |

QUOTE(max_cavalera @ Aug 31 2016, 11:40 AM) Congratz wenger.... Lel. No signing people say sure will only get 4th place trophy. Sign a few players also people will say finish top 4. Damned if you do, damned if you dont. This season he looks more ruthless with more aggressive signing, loaning out deadweight/not good enough player.... This season arsenal should be good enough for top 4 finish However city, chelsea and united look awfully strong this season. If the new signings can bed in quickly I see no reason for us not to challenge for the title. On a side note, Walcott does not look like his former self. He looks like burning with desire to nail his place down. Long may it continue..... |
