QUOTE Giroud open to Napoli move, says agent Gunner's striker Olivier Giroud has not ruled out a move to the Italian club following days of speculation over his role in a bid for the Partenopei's prize striker Gonzalo Higuain. Speaking to Italian broadcaster Radio CRC, the Frenchman's agent Mickael Manuello said: "If he was asked to leave, then we would evaluate our options. "There is no fear in Olivier possibly going to Napoli, it is a magnificent city. In Campania, my client could live a wonderful life, not to mention that the type of game orchestrated by Napoli coach Sarri could enhance the quality of a centre-forward like him." not sure if this is good news or bad news |

Arsenal in talks with Napoli over potential €65 million Higuain deal
The Gunners have invited officials from the Italian club to a meeting on Thursday to begin discussions over the transfer of highly sought after striker Gonzalo Higuain, according to Italian website Football Italia. Speaking to Italian broadcasters Radio CRC, football commentator Ciro Venerato claimed the offer will be presented formally on Thursday, after discussions have ended. Gonzalo Higuain Gonzalo Higuain CREDIT: ERIC GAY /AP It is understood that Arsenal are preparing to offer between €60-65 million to secure the Argentine's services, with Oliver Giroud thrown in as extra leverage to see the deal through. Arsene Wenger reportedly called the meeting with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis and sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli, who will fly to London to meet with Arsenal officials. Football Italia also reported that Arsenal will offer Higuain a four-year contract worth €8 million per season, should the in-form striker agree to the move. Venerato claimed that Higuain had expressed interest in a move to the Emirates and the opportunity to play in the Premier League. |

QUOTE(HiperPanda @ Jul 12 2016, 10:51 PM) My impression of Henry as a person has dropped greatly. He chose the money over the coaching role yet pinned the blame on Arsene saying it was "Arsene's decision" in order to not look like a greedy cunt. Sorry mate the decision was always yours to begin with. |

QUOTE(sigheart @ Jul 13 2016, 02:24 AM) My impression of Henry as a person has dropped greatly. Agree... How can he at 1 side coaching the team & at weekend he comment publicly on the team if not performing. If he really appreciate the role given, then he should commit on it.He chose the money over the coaching role yet pinned the blame on Arsene saying it was "Arsene's decision" in order to not look like a greedy cunt. Sorry mate the decision was always yours to begin with. |

defeats the whole purpose of adding a new striker if its a swap deal with Giroud.
anyways no credible source reporting, yet just another media hyping it up. |

QUOTE(aladdin @ Jul 13 2016, 11:09 AM) afaik, he doesn't get any single penny for coaching the youth team. AW kicked him out because henry always give negative comment to the team. The coaching role is a full time paid role.It was Henry who offered to coach for free + at the same time work for Sky. Wenger did not kick Henry out. Wenger simply maintained that the coaching role has to be a full time role and gave Henry a choice: 1. Work full time as the coach and get paid for it (Obviously not as much money at Sky) 2. Work for Sky. And Henry made his choice. In which everyone would understand and personally I wouldn't hold it against him if he had been up front about it because the money is just so good at Sky. But he decided to be a cunt and portray Wenger as though the old man was the decision maker so he wouldn't look like a money grabber when it fact the choice was always Henry's to begin with. This IMO is low. This post has been edited by sigheart: Jul 13 2016, 11:27 AM |

LOL'ed.
Whats the point appointing Henry as Club Ambassador if he still affliate with Sky as pundit? Logic..Club Ambassador suppose to rise club good image. But how he is going to do that if at weekend he critisized own club as a Sky's pundit? Apa la Casa.. |
