Hey guys, currently having a dilemma on choosing among these laptops.
1. Dell 7559 - Intel core i5 3.3k
2. MSI GL62 - 3.2k
3. Lenovo y50 (not y700) - 3.1 - 3.3k
4. Lenovo IP700-ISK 3.2k
MSI and lenovo both have a core i7 but MSI has the skylake while lenovo still uses the previous i7 and dell has i5. Is there a big difference between i5-6300hq and i7-6700hq?
Currently eyeing for dell as it fits my budget and has a gtx 960m. Is there any laptop that is better than dell and is in the similar price range?
Thanks.

the Core i7-6700HQ has an edge over the Core i5-6300HQ when it comes to raw performance. Synthetic benchmark tests indicate around 30-40% better performance and this might be solely on the CPU clocks and the Hyper-Threading feature

the Core i5-6300HQ might be the better choice for gaming, but if you are looking for more computational power for CPU-intensive tasks and work, the Core i7-6700HQ will be the way to go.

30-40% better? tat is very kind statement.. i would say 50-70% more if both unit configure wif ssd n 8gb ram

I'm going to add another 8gb ram to the dell if I were to buy it and buy another m2 sdd for it. Most importantly does the i5 worth the price compare to i7 at around 3k and the gtx 960m and 950m.
Thanks.

Not gonna play dota on it. More to single player story games like witcher 3 fallout 4 and such. So which one do you recommended for heavy gaming?

Heavy gaming? AT least a GTX 960M and above or increase budget to get GTX970M

Dell 7559 has it but I'm buying the i5. The i7 is not worth it. Because I rather spend that extra money on the gtx 1080 when it comes out.
