Hey peeps,

I seen from Intel page that it no longer provides driver of Intel HD 3000 for W10, I don't have the dual-graphics like other laptop. Has anyone with Acer 4752 or Intel HD 3000 ONLY laptop manages to update to W10 without any problem? I'm considering update for now since it is free, but this issue is holding back on me.

Is it possible to download Free W10 now and create a clean installation disc and install to my "future" laptop? drool.gif

Lappy spec:
Processor: i3-2350M
RAM: 6gb ddr3
OS: Windows 7 Pro 64bit
Graphic: Intel HD 3000

Thanks sad.gif sad.gif

You can upgrade to 10 but your 3d performance might be non-existent.
Try running a current 3d game to be sure that you at least have a driver that works ...

Yeah, there is lil bit of performance degradation, most noticeably is my Dota 2, there is sudden drop in fps for no reason. doh.gif
Maybe due to this laptop have not been serviced for 1 year, start to heat up again sad.gif
Anybody know good cheap shop that provide servicing of laptop? icon_question.gif
Wanna DIY clean it, but I scare I destroy the laptop instead sad.gif

Your driver wouldn't be a problem... I got a friend that managed to upgrade that old 32bit 1Malaysia Samsung netbook with Windows 7 Starter to Windows 10 and all the drivers appears to be certified for Windows 10 uses...

The only problem is RAM...

Got 6gb for it to use, hopefully fine sweat.gif

Seriously, for HD3000 you might want to consider reversing and going back to 7.
It's a good chip, but 10 doesn't have much support for it. Though if you are only using it for office applications it is fine, but even then there are some applications that won't run under 10.

Send a PM if you're interested to service the laptop.

Yeah I know about the HD3000 lack of supports for win 10, but I don't see there is any future update for HD3000 even I stayed on 7. So far all of the function in my laptop working fine anyway tongue.gif Technology gone so fast these days, the specs of laptops are getting better with reasonable price.
