You know... unless our local mobile services enable features like conferencing, we might practically will not be able to utilize some of iPhone's celebrated features.
Take the multiple voice mail selection feature for example, Cingular had to reinvent the voice mail architecture to accomodate that feature. QUOTE Jobs demanded special treatment from his phone service partner, Cingular, and he got it. He even forced Cingular to re-engineer its infrastructure to handle the iPhone's unique voicemail scheme. "They broke all their typical process rules to make it happen," says Tony Fadell, who heads Apple's iPod division. "They were infected by this product, and they were like, we've gotta do this!" What do you guys think?http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,...75410-2,00.html This post has been edited by slumberus: Jan 10 2007, 03:38 PM |

Dunno, I lack the faith in Malaysia's telcos to enable the iPhones features. All i want now is Apple to release the iPod with the same interface and shape, take away the phone components and add a 80gb HD in its place.
Finger scrolling and pinching zoom ftw. |

QUOTE(hiiragizawa @ Jan 10 2007, 06:15 PM) Guys, I don't understand something: the term point here means you are 'pointing' at the device but the tip of your finger is physically touching the screen.POINTING???? NOT EVEN TOUCHING IT???? p/s: I didn't watch the keynote yet. |

Added on July 3, 2007, 5:51 pm QUOTE(Mike3300 @ Jul 2 2007, 04:32 PM) Don't you got the idea from the iPhone's iPod? Cover Flow represents the widescreen iPod and watch your video in widescreen mode. Watch the keynote to learn all out. I know this has widescreen capabilities. (tilts and all) But to me this is an iPhone or Widescreen iPod Nano (8gb). Yeah, I love the from 'fit to screen to widescreen' changing mode. I want the Widescreen iPod with more than 20gb. I just wished there is a 80gb Ipod without all those phone/safari etc. stuff. An iPod where I can dump 60 gigs of my videos/tv series inside and watch them. Yeah I know iPhone does this but the capacity (700mb for the system files wtf) turns me off.
