US release only and only from AT&T with a minimum 2 year contract. Apple seems kinda picky and I guess it's because they want to ensure the best product experience possible. Expect europe release early next year. Don't know when it's gonna get here tho.
Btw pricing's bout $500- which actually comes to a high end N series phone. And the N-series is waaay out of the iPhone's league

"And the N-series is waaay out of the iPhone's league"
As in the iPhone is in it's own league- definitely better than the N series

QUOTE(jehutyz @ Jun 4 2007, 07:56 PM) So iPhone by now is just from AT&T. No chance to have it without any contract. Arghhhh my sis will be at US from June until Aug. Taught of asking her to buy one for me. Well depends how desperate you are really get a 2 year contract and bring back the phone when she comes back lol.. not only is it gonna be an expensive affair paying bills for 2 years and on top of that you also gonna have crack your head on how to get the sim lock off hehe and if I'm not mistaken i read somewhere that iPhones in the US market ONLY supports the US gsm band- not really sure bout that. If the phone is still useable without the simcard, hey least you'd be the only one in Malaysia with a touch-screen 8gb iPod which can surf the net
