this thing is cool and all, but 8gigs just doesnt deliver... my music in my ipod video is already 10gigs(like to collect OSTs), vids take up at least 20gigs and pics take up 1gigs... i also use my ipod as an external harddrive, so that takes away a few gigs already...
sure the interface is cool, but when it comes down to it, storage capacity is more important...
also, hopefully apple will release the iPhone as a separate product than the iPod... cuz ipod with iphone abilities minus the phone functions could be more affordable. and i already have a phone anyway, the iPod acts as an entertainment system... i dont like when those two worlds interwine...
