wat are the odds for us gettin a iPhone by July..... I bet theres some selling it, locked or unlocked im not sure... but I bet some FANS would juz buy it and use it as an iPod + Cam for the time being until theres an unlock service goin on...

No 3G/video call is supported on the iPhone yet. The phone will work on any GSM courier but you have to wait for the unlock in 2008.

I'm oso waiting 4 iphone but it's quite expensivelah.
So u guys comfirm tat it will release in Asia by 2008 ah???

Mac OSX supports chinese input. Since that it's a mini Mac OSX, i don't see why there won't be chinese input. Plus, no chinese input means very limited china/taiwan/hong kong potential customers.

There is no camera on the iPhone dude.

And to use it as an iPod would imply an abundance of dollars over sense. You won't even be able to use the internet features without a WiFi hotspot.

On the other hand, if it is available as an unlocked GSM....

there will be chinese support when the phone reach the right market.

If there's iPod function, there should be chinese support. The part I worried is the unlocking part heck I don't want to wait for it to reach Malaysia "officially" on dunno what time after 2008.

Dude, don't ever trust what the apple shop tell you la.. That's just another rumour. So don't be too surprise if by jan, malaysia still havn't got iphone. Btw, apple just stated that iphone will release in asia by 2008. That's it!! No mention specific month.
