QUOTE(wei @ Sep 21 2007, 05:47 PM) Ooohh never know I'm holding the key. good job man, thanks for the info...same wif me here...i will gamble wif kastam nw..whether will kena tax o nt...so now i will buy iphone fr apple online store, then ship to US fren add, then he help me ship by FEDEX to malaysia....worst to worst, let them tax, hopefully nt more than rm300 lol...Ok, as all my buddies successful shipments (of iPhones ofcourse), non of them get held by custom or went tru SIRIM checking. Fedex & DHL seems doing all the job to get it to the doorsteps. Only those sent via regular postage get all the trouble. But this is not 100% assurance they won't get held. I will surely update on my set. Just stay put. --------------------------------------- Maxis update: This is what the call details: 1. they are aware the call-in issue. 2. they don't have an iphone for testing now. 3. they have ordered 2 iphones. on the way. 4. hopefully by next weeek they can do full test. 5. they had similar problem with prada phone, but the problem never solved because the localise official phone arrive before they solve the issue. The localise version work without issue. Please do not quote me or held me responsible for above statement, take it as a tips or rumor you grab from the net. i b away fr malaysia tml...hopefully can get my iphone when i back to malaysia... |

wei, it's more like Buble overdose, and the litres of coffee and excessive multitouch fondling isnt helping either.

Did he went through the multitouch-to-several-painful-clicks withdrawal syndrome? The human psyche fell victim to yet another disorder when yanked away from devices falling from Heaven, CrackBerry notwithstanding.

One curious Q: Let say the next firmware update shows up and gives functionalities deemed critical to you, but, in applying the upgrade, in doing so, endangers your sim unlocked properties of your Jailbroken iPhone, would you do it? |

No, I still have a lot to explore with the installable apps. By the time I'm done with it, the firmware update should be taken over by the hacker

I ask this because.............im looking forward to iTunes Wifi Store. Add the current inability on my laptop to even access the Store (kept giving me resources not found, error iTunes please try later crap) , a mobile iTunes Stores is appealing and convinient at the same time. But is it enough to risk relocking?

string, maybe you can try these steps on setting up PAW, it help me getting my podcasts. Give it a try before you giving any thought on relocking your iphone
I'm still not sure will the relocking is a good idea, it might be a one way thicket. What if it will take a long time for hacker to crack it? |

Bro, i tried PAW, Proximitron....you name it. Short of leasing my own VPN to bypass all this user-agent filter bullcrap by Streamyx, im afraid i have to ride it out. Going to Paris tomorrow midnight, gonna try if it gets better there. If it is still crappy, then i suspect the iTunes simply wants its new 7.4.2 outfit, which i will hold from upgrading, until i get the green light to proceed in terms of iPhone restore compatibilites and related stuff.
I can download podcasts , but i cant login into my iTunes account to get the free songs and TV episodes. Oh the tease! |

Maybe i didnt set PAW proper. If you're still up at 2am, i'd like your take on this, if you're okay with it. Got a midnight flick to catch. Otherwise, it's no biggie.
