I am currently received two scholarship offers which are TNB and TM. If I picked any of these, I will be bonded to work with them. For TNB i got the offer for computer science. While TM for Engineering. I need to know a little info about those career in those two company.

TM, what engineering specifically? Electrical and Communications (or something similar)?
Personally, feel that going into Engineering would be better for your future and might enable you to work in both fields as an Electrical and Computer Systems Engineer may go into either fields, but a computer science grad is not an engineer and less certified to do stuff.

at the end of the day though, it really depends on how good is your math and what's your interest.

IT in TNB lol..you will be doing some petty IT job in TNB I bet. If you want to get into real IT then find company like DELL, HP, MS, Experian, etc. The pay is higher and they gonna give real IT job to you.

For TM they are always gaining profit every year, unlike TNB. And I bet job in TM will be more challenging and interesting as well, since TM consists of Network IT and Telco Engineering. Malaysia still lacking internet infrastructure, our internet speed is below average compared to 1st world, coverage is limited.

Better take TM, imho

But then since you mention it is about scholarship, why jump so early to see which company have better benefits and stuffs? sweat.gif

Had you go through their suggested course in scholarship offers and take a look whether u got interest into the suggested field first?

Some of my friends last time got offer into engineering by one of oil n gas company, end up cannot take it anymore after two or three semester, had to change to another non- engineering course sweat.gif

Quite a waste lah sweat.gif
