QUOTE(JinLeon @ May 17 2016, 11:00 PM) Hi guys,i'm planning to change to a bigger screen for my desktop, currently using Lg Flatron e2050 for watching movie and surfing, gaming will be very little ad. So is better to buy 32 inch Tv or just monitor? Pls state reason , and my budget is around RM900. All of the 32inch TV sold in Malaysia is only 1280x720. Not enough resolution for computer work. If you go for 40inch TV with FHD, it is a bit big wor.

QUOTE(koonghx @ May 25 2016, 10:14 AM) 1440p at 27 inch is perfect But hard to get new ones for his price. Nowadays, there are a few options for 24 inch 1440p and 27 inch 4K. TV is not suitable for gaming because 1. Colour - TV colour is normally worse than monitors 2. Response time - Normally TV has much higher response time, so for playing games you will feel the "lag" 3. Lower lifetime - from my own experience TV usually break down much quicker than monitors, in fact I never have any monitors that become faulty before while the living room had already gone through 2 or 3 TVs My experience shows TV and monitor last more or less the same. Then again, LCD TV is relatively new but it has gone for 6 years without issue. Meanwhile my monitor also around the same age. Some older LCD monitor has broken down after 5 years though.

QUOTE(3536837 @ May 25 2016, 04:31 PM) Just go lazada and type 32inch full HD tv That is what lazada gives: http://www.lazada.com.my/panasonic-viera-3...v-10471659.htmlPanasonic VIERA 32” Inch TH32A400 Full HD LED TV Screen Size: 32 inch Resolution: 1366x768 Or http://www.lazada.com.my/sony-32-inch-kdl3...v-10479600.htmlSony 32' Inch KDL32R300C Full HD LED TV Google same model, and notice it is too a 1366x768 model. Lots of Malaysian vendors call their TV FHD, but the resolution is actually only 1366x768.
