If you prefer tv for your desktop, you need a higher pixel density tv so the text will not be blurry.

Depending on where you put your desktop, if you are surfing from a couch, then get a tv.

Personally I prefer monitor so I dont need to strain the eyes when reading texts.

If comparing the IPS panel, view angle and accurate colour, monitor is better than 32inch tv right?

Hmm.. The bigger the best~ but must stay in my budget. Saw Samsung monitor, curve monitor will be better than normal?
27 led
vs
23.6 curve

Curved monitor have disadvantages, the viewing angles, you need to be directly in front of the monitor or else the picture will not look right.

Here's some monitors around your budget with 27 inch screen.

Acer R271
Acer K272HL

So i think i just focus to 24 to 27 flat screen monitor. Saw some Benq screen that have bezel less one is quite nice also. Btw, the lesser the response time the better right?
*
Yeah. Lesser response time is effective for games.

Both of have pros and cons.

I have been using a 47 inch TV (1080p) as my monitor for 3 years. Personally it is ideal for me in terms of movies, gaming and also to some extent work as well.

However, you need living setup for that as the screen is too big for desktop purposes (even for the case if the TV screen is 32 inch)

47 inch shocking.gif How do you feel when reading on the screen? Is is difficult to see?

Don't know it's QC problem or electrical component problem with electronics nowadays. RMA-ed BenQ monitor twice and Acer monitor button problem. doh.gif
