As long as you're gainfully employed and can prove it (E.g. EPF, bank statements, pay slips), shouldn't be much of a problem

as per what I've been through, there's a catch. you have to transfer you primary bank account (esp account which you get your monthly pay) to bank islam, which I can say somehow I regret of doing so, in view the s*** level of the internet banking they are offering right now.

anyhow, their rate is quite attractive. I managed to get RM10k loan for 3 years with monthly deductions of RM301 per month

Packaged = Private Sector but Panel Bank for your company.
Non-packaged = Private Sector.

You can check with them whether your company classified as panel or otherwise.

Applicant must be a continued employee in any of the following:
Government Sector
Selected Public Listed Companies
Subsidiaries of Government or Selected Public Listed Company
Other Prominent Private Limited Companies as categorized under package companies listed by Bank Islam

However, you need to take into consideration like 2 months of advance payment will be deducted from the loan. Need to transfer salary to their bank, stamp duty, wakalah fees and etc.

But still, non-packaged also the interest quite low.

Let say my company is in non-packaged. Can I still apply? since it showed in the website that minimum salary must 3.5k per month. Currently mine is only at 2.8k gross..by the way, where can I check whether my company is in panel with bank islam?

Thanks. biggrin.gif
