I'm a medical card holder.
I'd like to add on the complaint to tha AIA insurance company, instead of solve my problem, the AIA customer service is really useless. For example, in the same email, despite I chasing them the claim for more than a month, they just replied me with different case number, without a realistic approach.
Besides, the staffs in customer helpline are not equipped with sufficient product knowledge. This is a very worst insurance company that I have come across so far.

Don't you have an agent? Request your agent to process the claim.

The documents are already passed to the agent, the real person who is doing the job is the one in the "AIA claim department". So I just call them on a weekly basis, they are not handle in seriously somehow. I'm so disappointed with the call center.

Honestly, most Insurance Agents (not all) are just sweet talkers. They'll push you to got bagloads of policies and etc. BUT when dealing with the Company itself for example Claims and other issues, they just bail out or don't support you.

Key here is to get yourself dealing with an seasoned and experienced Agent. One who can guide you on the right procedures, steps and also follow-up on your requests and claims instead of you chasing after the company.

Just my 2 cents. icon_rolleyes.gif

Sorry, I'd rather trust the backend support rather than an agent, no matter how close the agent relate to the policy holder, the fundamental still goes back to how strong is the office back-end processing, whether they don't have a smooth processing center, or their system down most of the time, or management problem.
In my experience, AIA Insurance has not smooth in processing the claim. Really terrible experience.
