Dont. MI4 gps is notorious for failing due to no reason... Google mi4 gps problem...

I'm using Mi4. After latest MIUI updates the GPS problem has been fixed so no problem already. But it does not support 4G in Malaysia. A year ago I thought I could live with 3G, apparently I am wrong. I think 4G is really needed nowadays now especially when signal is not good.

I think RN3 or Mi Max is a good alternative. Or consider the imported RN4, although not sure if its Mediatek will be as good as RN3 SD variant.

Otherwise if need lower budget, Redmi 3 is quite ok (just bought one for my mom). At least its 4G and dual/bybrid sim+external SD are added advantage compared to Mi4.

You are wrong, RN3 SD650 performance actually close to SD808, and beat out SD801 on Mi4.
Gaming wise, SD650 Adreno 510 beat out SD801 Adreno 330.
Clash Royale and Poke Go, low end graphic chip also can run, so really no effect if compare the 2 with these game.
No 4G on Mi4 really is a no go, you will regret soon if you can't enjoy much faster 4G internet.
If budget really is a contrain, the 16GB RN3 also is very good choice, consider you can add SD card on RN3, but you can't add anything on Mi4.

I would say Mi4 maybe is a bit better in camera only, others spec all loose to RN3.
PS:Mi4, even Mi4c only comes with 16GB internal memory and no expansion slot. Overall, RN3 is a much better buy. Then RN3 also has fingerprint scanner. There are so much more reason to consider RN3 than Mi4.

For AP set, do check the producr detail before buying, only buying the Pro version.
