Yeah, I'm fine with it.

Btw, is there a thread for estate planning/wills in LYN? Want to compare with this Pengistiharan thing...

Pengisytiharan is just to transfer the units to the next of kin in terms of units. If use will, it will be transferred in the form of cash.

Mid day report-

Visited 2 banks-

1st bank
1st transaction- a bit of ASM, no ASW

2nd transaction- a bit of ASW & 10k of ASM.

(1 elderly customer managed to get a bit of everything also and her 2nd try, she got AS1M- 5 digits. She waited at the bank the whole am.)

2nd bank- I went in with the elderly lady to try our luck there but had a HORRIBLE encounter with the CIMB bank's manager. Anyway, I went up to the teller and try my luck- ZERO transaction. Once completed, I thank the lady teller for all her helps in helping with my ASX transactions and walked out, withdraw from ATM & did IBG transfer out from bank & leave minimal amount in the account upon advice from another banker.
Called up Customer service to complaint about the bank's manager attitude & will not do any future transactions with them. (Sorry! sign0006.gif)

Imbalance? You mean like they don't retain enough deposits/capital in their branch after you moved your deposit out to ASX?

Don't forget to email to asnbcare@pnb.com.my and tell them the full details such as which branch of their agent and all.

Nope. Probably one of the tellers made a mistake. At the end of the day, their in/ out are not tally. I've been sending funds via instant IBG from HLB to CIMB for ASx transactions. Sometimes, if big amount, I'll deduct from my account. For small transaction, I just gave them cash. I'm sure the teller checked and double checked whatever amount I gave her, big/ small.

I guess he's stressed out by the error. But that doesn't give him/her the right to blame customers. Manager some more.

I reported her to CIMB customer service.

When I approached her (bank's manager was at the counter) for number and extra deposit forms, she said I can only try one time and no multiple tries. (That's what I had been doing. If the teller said , no units, occasionally, I'll leave and come back during the pm. I've never asked the teller to keep trying on the spot, If they 'hit' on successful transaction, the teller usually offered to try again. The ASNB, MBB, Affin staff also will offer to try again if 1st transaction successful.) My regular transaction is with Affin.
I can accept this logic as there are other customers waiting for their turn but when she brought up my multiple transactions caused bank's imbalance. I was like confused.gif
I was too shock to question her on the spot & I don't like confrontation. Hopefully Customer service will handle this issue.

better report to ASNB HQ too.

sometimes banks customer service might "cover up" your case. I don't really trust them will take stern action.

Just a gentle reminder to all

below happened in Kota Kinabalu --

Published on: Wednesday, May 25, 2016

Kota Kinabalu:

A 60-year-old woman who just retired from the civil service will not be able to enjoy her hard-earned pension money of RM100,000 – she was robbed in broad daylight by two men at the traffic lights opposite Wawasan Plaza, here, Tuesday.
The victim withdrew all the cash from a bank at Api-Api Centre at about 9.20am and intended to invest all in the Amanah Saham Bumiputra (ASB) when the robbers struck 30 minutes later.
Speaking to Daily Express here on the same day, the victim said all the money was kept in a big envelope placed inside her handbag which she put on the car floor.
Upon reaching the traffic lights on the second lane from the right, she was shocked when a man smashed her left car window with a sharp object before grabbing her handbag.
She tried to stop the robber until some cash fell on the road but failed. She sustained wounds on her thumbs and index finger in the process.
The robber and his accomplice fled with the envelope containing her money on a motorcycle.
She also hit the rear of a Honda car in front of her Perodua Kembara in the incident.
To her disappointment, other motorists who witnessed the incident did not even bother to help her.

Initially I opened CIMB account for easy access to $ in account & the possibility of buying ASX on line. I was also thinking of cancelling MBB & Affin accounts once I hit my personal target and just keep CIMB for all other purposes. All CIMB staff are very nice but, but only the bank manager.

Actually I was thinking of going to ASNB in the afternoon but I was just too upset. Now I'm feeling better.

Pm report:-

Visited my regular bank only.

1st transaction- ASM & ASW- all ZERO, not even 100u.

2nd transaction- my bank staff always try again without me asking especially if everything is ZERO initially.

He'd managed to hit ASM:- 4 digits + 0, 4 digits + 0, + 4 digits + last 4 digits to our surprise. Total a good 5 digits.

Thanks for sharing. The elderly lady who somehow followed me today had her hand bag snatched from her while walking previously. I'll be extra careful when I go to ASNB next week.

Be careful especially if you are a regular. Carry a backpack. They can never snatch a backpack.
