No. They will change the book for you automatically. Don't know if that applies to online topup.

I dd it before at MBB. Later I visited Affin Bank and the staff changed the book for me. Mbb staff was surprised to see me with the new passbook the following day as they were yet to receive the new stock of passbook at that time (May).

** I checked with Affin Bank regarding old passbook top up. It's possible for those 'older' bank. e.g. MBB & post office for old passbook top up as they might have old system still in place.

Yes. I've reconfirmed with staff & bank manager. Hopefully they'll revise the rate once they receive full license to operate for ASNB. (At the moment, they still have 'orange sticker'- restricted.)

if i bought 10k worth of asw halfway through the dividend year. when it comes to the dividend time, i will still get the full 6% dividend? or it will be prorated depending on the time when you bought the fund?

Managed to top up a very small amount of RM500 today for AS1M.

I was one of the winner for the previous online campaign where if you deposit online with a minimum of 2k you stand a chance to win RM5k. So I won. And they called me saying no units for AS1M, can they put in ASG instead.

Good thing I have learned a lot from here so I insisted no variable funds, they can try my ASM or ASW2020 instead. Then they told me in their T&C ASM/ASW2020 cannot. So I said to her you keep trying for AS1M till you get then, no such thing as no unit.

Today when I updated passbook with RM500, the RM5000 is there already! 

My experience using Maybank online buy 1 Malaysia fund capture but after a week update passbook no such transaction then go here and there complaint also no ppl entertain wait almost 2 weeks only get the refund now also scare to buy using online

Nope.  For asb, can only open asb1 and asb2. Each have cap of  rm240k = rm480k cap. If you leave the money inside and don't touch it, the cap will increase eveey year

Hahahaha...  :lol:To get a dividend of rm70k a month you will need a miliion inaide asb. Nope you will only get RM8400 p.a with that rm120k. That's also the next year not the current year as the money is not inside asb for 1 full complete year.
