The more I read of all your successful transactions and reach target, the more frustrated I become.  Haih.  I know good results need hard work but to be at the mercy of the counter staff with black face, sienzzzzz!!  Macam we are using their money!  Cis!  How I wish I can try a thousand times online and only be charged for successful transactions  whistling.gif

tried for the whole day and failed.
Seremban branches are like shiet sad.gif
Post office x 2 places :
One places say they dont do ASNB. Another one waited for 1.5 hours for queue. They ask me to sit aside and wait. After 1 hour tell me post office cannot create ASNB account
Maybank: Quota habis, dont even give me a number
Alliance bank: Do not have such service
BSN : No such service
Hong Leong: no such service
Worst is Affin bank: got such service, can open account and got unit for you but our printer is spoilt. So we cannot print the passbook for you. Very sorry.

sad.gif
*
Printer spoil is ok. They will write and cop the book. Maybank is acting. Tell them it's ok if you print and cop the book. Asal masuk. Have to push them.

Aliance people say won't do for fixed price. BSN still new so maybe system not update for it yet. HLB memang don't have.
Try CIMB/Rhb.

QUOTE(langstrasse @ Jul 12 2016, 05:59 PM)
Folks, I see a lot of talk here of personal targets for the ASX accounts (RM150k, RM200k etc), but any idea what are these personal targets (or recommendations) in terms of % of net worth ?

I currently have about 36% of NW in ASX. Personally I find it high in terms of concentration (but then again ASX is to my understanding a low risk, highly liquid and easily accessible investment).

Any thoughts from the experienced people here ? Would you go all the way say to 60% , 70 % of net worth in ASX?
*
Well some group of people in Malaysia uses ASX FP as their SA. whistling.gif
For me, I am 100% in ASX FP until I worked. After that I will venture into other stuff.

not interested with anything to do with cimb.
*
You don't need to be interested. Eg like dasecret said, ASX is a blackbox investment (not transparent). Who cares not transparent? As long give you give me >= 6.x% + principal is "protected" + excellent track record, I don't care. That's just personal view.
You don't like that CIMB bank, go to another CIMB bank. Easy.

From my experience using rhb online banking to buy asx fp, usually they will deduct your money in the acc 1st. The next day rhb will send a sms to you whether successful or unsuccessful. Tried few times but so far only once succeeded. Gave up and prefer to do it otc. 😅
For unsuccessful transaction, they will refund back the money on the 3rd day from the 1st purchase date.
*
Can they do ASW and ASM as well? hmm.gif

Where you open your account at KLIA2? I can't to seem find a Maybank branch here. Where is it?

Thinking to try top up whenever waiting my flight.
*
Departure hall. Near gate 1. When you come, you can see maybank through the glass door. Is one of the first building you see inside the airport if you are being drop off.

Keep in mind that they follow normal banking hours. No special operating hours even though they are located at KLIA2. So the maybank is close on weekends.

Not all. Some only can perform asb transactions.
*
Sure or not? Cause even rural town post office, no problem with asx FP.
Somemore, aside from maybank, cimb, rhb, post office is the oldest agent.
Well it depends whether they update the system or not. If haven't update, then cannot.
