Firstly this is my first post, so please admin you can move this topic around if you think i've posted in the wrong section. My apologies.

Recently i was reading through the recommended laptop list and saw this model COMMANDOS 15.6” G15EX at RM4,099 for a GTX965 Ti and other specs was quite up to date.

CLICK HERE TO VIEW PRODUCT IN LAZADA

Then i proceed on google to search more about this particular laptop but it seems i cant find anything about it, no reviews, no youtube videos and not even a website. So i'm wondering right now if that brand is actually TRUST WORTHY? is it worth buying?

If you do have any other laptop recommended please do recommend some to me. I'll list my criteria below

1. Preferred Brand

Any brand is fine, as long as it's trust worthy

2. Budget

RM4000 - RM4500

3. Usage

Architect work eg: sketchup, 3dmax and revit. Also use for photoshop, video editing and rendering pictures.
Sometimes is used to slack off and play modern games too like the division, shadow of mordor and others. =p

4. Preferred laptop/screen size

15 inch and above. 13 is too darn small for designing.

Thanks for all the replies, its been very kind of you guys to respond to this quickly. Just a quick question, i'm not really that familiar with GPUs, but isn't GTX965 Ti better than GTX960m? Despite that GTX960m have 4gb vram while GTX965 Ti has only 2gb vram. isn't GTX965 Ti still better though?

I cant seem to find anything as good as the Commandos and as cheap as it is. Gigabyte and MSI are all around 5k above.

Commandos comes from a Malaysian company, Tech Armory. I think they make their own laptops. You can find their website here: http://www.techarmory.my/index.php?route=p...gory&path=48_52

As far as I know, it is a legit brand.

Legit as in its reliable ?? i'm just worried that once i get it, use for less than 3 months and goes back to "factory"

Tech Armory is a legitimate shop located in SS15 Subang Jaya, it's where i got this lappy...

i owned this lappy for about approximately a month.. it's a great lappy for designing work...here's just my brief review about this lappy...( usually i won't don't bother to do any review cos too busy to do so...)

the G-15EX ( also known as Aftershock SM-15 / Clevo N151RF ).

http://s5.postimg.org/701is3r47/20160420_155627.jpg

paid RM4120 for these specs; ( my budget was around 4.5k )

i7-6700HQ, 16GB Ram, GTX965M Ti, IPS 15.6\" FHD, Intel 8260 AC Wifi. No OS, No Hdd. Since I have few 256GB SSD around ( which I bought dirt cheap previously ), I fitted this lappy with the M.2 SSD & a 2.5 sata SSD and this system is ready to run in no time...

what i really like about this lappy, is that there isn't any branding / logo on it's chassis. I just love this clean and mysterious look .. biggrin.gif

since this purchase haven't exceeded my budget yet, i treat my lappy with this awesome notebook cooler, cooler master U3 Plus for RM75 from Lazada.

and to carry around this lappy, i purchased this awesome laptop bag, Targus Grid Essential for only RM240 from 11street...i must say this is the best laptop bag I ever used ! thumbsup.gif

back to the laptop, the main reason i got this is strictly for work purpose ( no gaming at all as i just hate gaming...dunno why  shocking.gif ). My primary software use are Photoshop, Illustrator, Autocad and 3ds Max. This lappy can handle any task given with ease....no hiccup or issue so far. Everything run buttery smooth thanks to the i7 6700HQ and GTX965M Ti ( and the 16GB Ram too ) !

prior to this, i was still contemplating whether to get this or Dell Inspiron 7559 and I am so glad with my decision to get this instead ! thumbup.gif
