Computer can give all kind of error over similar problem. Have you tried to scan for viruses. The best way is to scan while boot up from CD or using another PC.

Your error code has a very long string which usually means some 'unknown' (read: suspicious) entity gotten into your PC. Maybe do a thorough scan first? smile.gif

Read here
http://www.thewindowsclub.com/chrome-exe-b...x-error-message

In case you can't browse biggrin.gif

Navigate to the following folder:

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application

Here you will see files. One chrome.exe and the other old_chrome.exe. Delete chrome.exe and rename old_chrome.exe to chrome.exe.

You cannot Search Find the application because the AppData folder is hidden folder. You have to manually type it or if you want to search, you have to unhide the folder. This is basic nature of Windows

Hmm, it could also be some remnants from previous infection. Try clearing junks with ccleaner, uninstall Chrome, restart PC, reinstall Chrome and try again? Hope that helps. smile.gif
