A bit late to respond on this thread. Not too sure if you have got the Yokohama Bluearth AE50 tyres. I have these on my Ford Focus. Size is 205/60 R16, slightly higher profile than the size you are considering.

These tyres are "Earth" tyres which promotes comfort and quietness but the advantage is the excellent performance in aquaplanning. On the wet road, the AE50 will be good as going over puddles of water there is very minimal resistance due to the considerably large grooves. The tyres will just cut through moderately deep puddles of water with the car still retaining the straight line. With other cars on tyres comfort tyres such as Michelin Primacy 3ST or other tyres with small grooves, the tyres may slide when going over puddles of water at the same speed, or the speed of the vehicle considerably reduced the moment the tyres hit the water due to resistance. But not with the AE50.

There is a Taiwanese Youtube video which reviewed several tyres, and the Bluearth AE50 come up tops by achieving the shortest braking distance on a wet road. Braking performance with the AE50 on wet roads or in the rain is excellent.

The tyres are quiet and comfortable too. Going over unevenness on the roads and bumps, the tyres will soak up all the irregularities whereas performance tyres will feel more bumpy and noisier.

The disadvantage of the AE50 is the cornering performance. During cornering at relatively high speed, even on dry road is not as stable as other more performance-orientated tyres. You will feel the steering feedback to be less accurate. The steering feel with the AE50 tyres is not as sharp even when compared to the Goodyear Assurance Fuelmax which is not a performance tyre. But if you are a casual driver, or if you occasionally drive at higher than average speed, this would not be an issue. The tyres still have respectable performance. But if you are one that drives the car as if you are racing in an F1 circuit, then of course there are other tyres that will be more suitable for this purpose.
