Yeah.. That day i came back for a while from Singapore. My young daughter suddenly have fever and red spots all over her body. However she can still shout, laugh, eat and drink. We were panic as we were scared that she might contact with Zika coz i just came back from SG. So we brought her to the clinic and found she was contacted with Hand Foot Mouth disease. The next few days, the red spots multiply and she have diarrhea. Felt heart pain.. Luckily now has reduce however she have diarrhea..

how do they detect it?  By taking blood?

Is always scary when they get sick. How your daughter get well soon. Mine just getting better.

The doctor didnt take bloodtest. He just check her throat and saw some white spots and claim is Hand Foot Mouth. He just gave some cream to apply. Now seems to recover however my daughter still have diarrhoea..

my turn to rant after my first family trip with... my boy's first time on the airplane...

1 word to describe it... disaster bangwall.gif

there are fun times but most of the time its horrible doh.gif
*
Haha.. i always heard from my friends with kids advise me not to bring young kids to overseas. They say we wont get to enjoy the trip.
Tats why i will wait patiently till my kids grow 1st then will bring them to overseas. But probably by then it will be very crowded and the airplane tickets, hotel, expenses will be very expensive due to kids school holiday. No choice..

those dad's who work outstation, how you all make up the lost time with your little ones? sad.gif
*
I always bring them out when i go back. Now they see me, they would always want me to hug them coz they know i will mostly bring them out.
There was one time i told my wife that we will go Aeon later after i bring the car for servicing. When i was back, she said lets go to Aeon. I ask where were the kids coz i didnt saw them around. She said she let them go to sleep coz they were abit sleepy. Then my wife notice i dont have the mood to go and complain, "Cant we just go dating together?" I explained "Like that also wana be jealous? i only get to see my kids once a month, for sure i wish to go together as a family."
In the end, I drag the time until both kids woke up and we went to Aeon after that, lol..

talking about books... nowadays my boy demands for ipad/iphone during meal times... books also seldom read...
and even if he sits down on my lap with a book, he prefers just flipping the pages only doh.gif

It will be an habit. My daughter always open youtube and watch those useless videos. I tell my wife to put those learning apps and hide the youtube app. Initially my daughter was happy to be able to snatch the ipad from my wife. But after found out that the youtube was gone, she kept begging and crying while saying, "Youtup, Youtup!" After we saw that, we knew we must break the habit now or else it will be harder to break when she gets older.

mine lucky still unable to do so, he'll just open up facetime and randomly call people... most of the time he just opens up the photos and view the videos we taken during his playgroup

but yeah... its a bad habit and even for us as parents, we just pacify him with the ipad solely for our own convenience sake...
we usually feed him first, but once he finishes, he'll make noise... and we haven't had ours yet, so we give him for about 10 mins, buy enough time for us to shove everything down out throats bangwall.gif
else will have to take turns and eat... some times we do that also, while my wife feeding him, i'll faster finish up the food... then when my boy finishes, i take care of him and my wife will eat... still bad practice... need to think of a way so that everyone eats together hmm.gif
*
Where r u going? Business trip or working oversea?

Yeah, i also face this issue during dinner time. They always wana get out of their baby seats if the baby seat does not have a belt. Worst is feeding if our babies have a big appetite. They will keep demanding for food non-stop. Normally I will eat faster (bad for digestion, lol..) so i can feed the baby later on.

I think the best way to eat together is when your children can eat by their own and knows how to talk. Now my 2 year 7 month elder daughter knows how to do that so less headache.

Depending on how far u work. If in Singapore, still ok coz u can still go back once or twice a month depending on where u stay but u will still miss your kid and wife. Other countries, lagi worst..

Today i will feel like giving a rant, haha..
My 2 year 8 month daughter keep saying, "I want to visit Singapore this Christmas" these few days. She is going to play group next year. I also heard from my colleague that this year's Christmas lightup will be one of the most beautiful one coz government spent alot money on it this year.
So now i am trying to make her wish come true by planning a family trip to drive down there on 24 Dec and come back on 27 Dec since i am taking one week leave during that period.

25 Dec:
+1:00am: reach Singapore
10am: Go zoo

26 Dec:
Go Orchard and Bugis

27 Dec:
Go Universal Studio
Night: Drive back Malaysia

But these places going to be super duper pack during this period, sigh..

1st few days she is very happy to go. After that she don't like to go. She told me she doesn't like the nap time in kindergarten...
*
Mine also the same. 2nd day already started crying when seeing the school uniform. She even said, "I already went to school so no need to go anymore" Upon reaching the kindergarten, u will hear most of her classmates also crying wanting their mummy.
Now my daughter already improved and will say goodbye to my wife. Now our next problem is she will pee in her pants while taking a nap.

She have no problem with the kids and all that. Seems when things dun really go to her way, she will find lots of excuse dun wan to go to kindergarten. Say school got monster lah, teacher scary lah etc etc.

Want certain teacher to sit with her. Don't like certain teacher... pengsan...

Spoke to the headmistress and also the class teacher, they told that she will cry for a while, after that she will be the class 'taiko'. rclxub.gif

Idk.. Sometime he did rap with me when we both doing coding work ( my jobs ).. Only when peoplenasking and talk, he just shut up and do nothing..
sweat.gif
Not really.. I always play with him, talk, doing my coding and watch esports together.. He usually rap something when we watch esports and do coding..
*
I think no need to worry too much. They tends to learn to talk faster when there are kids around.

My rant:
Elder kid vomit + tummy ache -> Young kid fever + cough -> Wife fever + cough -> Elder kid recovered -> Younger kid recovered but have phlegm -> Wife recovered -> Younger kid fever + cough + phlegm -> Wife fever + cough -> Elder kid phlegm + vomit + tummy ache

Endless cycle.. Lost count on how much was spent on doctor fees alone, haihzz..
