same as my boy... even now my girl also likes banana... will keep asking for another one after finish...
one bad thing is.. keep pooping after the banana... lol
*
Banana actually will make stool solid.

And if taken without drinking enough water, it can cause constipation.

That's why if your kid have diarrhoea, doctor will advice makan banana.

Hence... if your kid have hard stool... try to ease back on banana.

Just in case those who are wondering if they should whack their kids, this is a research specifically for it:

Spanking and Child Development: We Know Enough Now To Stop Hitting Our Children

Personal preference, I will continue to whack my boys (when necessary) regardless whatever said.
*
I dont do it.... well i try...

We use the good ol TIme Out method.. find an empty corner... box her in and face the corner.. just make it TWO minutes.. apparently kids cannot tahan one.. hahahahah

Depends on the kid. My one niece will cry and scream and hates time out. The other will just be like OK. And sits there for 5 min just looking around hahaha. Suffice to say. One gets whacked one gets time out haha
*
Face wall.

Make it as unentertaining as possible.

But yeah.. some kid relax only.. like those not so active ones...

Mine... I think she cry more from the fact that she's being punished then the fact the time out is affecting her... she.. over sensitive one sweat.gif

my son obsessed with animals. so no matter how much he cries, just use talipon, open youtube. find animals, show him. hahaha. sure stop crying. hahah.
*
Same for my kid... keep asking different kind of animals etc...

I actually wanted to take her to some kinda petting zoo... but the only one around seems to be "Farm in the City"?

Anyone else have any other suggestion... or experience with Farm in the City to share?

my current rant:
start to train him to sleep without diaper at night since last weekend.....
totally a nightmare to me, every night i need to set alarm to wake up once every 2 hours to ask him to pee. sometimes ok, sometimes he already pee on the bed b4 i wake up  doh.gif
end up everyday go to work with a zombie look yawn.gif yawn.gif
*
Well.. you might want to rethink potty training her too early.

My kid has been potty trained by 2 yrs old... now she is 26 months old refuse to pee in her pampers.. sometimes go out we let her wear pampers cause worry in car or outside hard to find clean toilet... but she will hold it in and not pee in the diapers.

At night also she try not to pee in her diapers.. int he middle of the night will wake up and tell us she wants to pee...

yeah. i used to use the app as i had two phones. can set sensitivity to sound etc. babycall or some other type of name like that. those gates i think are like 200+ right? heh. but apparently lose effectiveness once kid is 2 years old.
*
My kid is 2 yrs old.. it still works.

Cause its not easy to open, get those you have to push back on a level/button then lift the gate up...

Actually I bought 2, one for the bottom of the stairs and 1 for the top ... didnt use the top part cause someone is with her 24/7 when upstairs

hahah yeah lah. but if really want it cheap hahaha.

of course not recommended lah... esp if full timber door...  cry.gif

Yeah... I'm gonna go offtopic abit...

You guys know how you always read of robbers gaining access to the house at night (you CANNOT stop a robber form coming in... roof, windows, etc too many options) and immediately they will go directly to the rooms... KICK open the door and before you know what happened you have a parang on your neck already....

I dont mind getting robbed... material possessions can be replaced... but I worry about my family being hurt in the process...

Hence... I convert all my rooms into like semi safe rooms. I installed solid doors with good quality 5 point locks, ofcourse reinforced metal frames as well. Once locked, its not easy for them to KICK open the door... sure if they keep whacking it.... in 15 or 20 minutes they might get thru... but by then it will buy me enough time to call the cops (1.3km away) , Guard house (150m) away, or even climb out the window.

Also note, I was told by the cops that these thieves will also resort to using your LPG cannister as a battering ram to break down the doors, so I suggest you install a floor plug and chain/lock your cannister down.

Yes... I might sound kiasi... I dont care about all these things until I got a kid... I wont take chances with her life.

that's scary... i have grilles and alarm system... problem is there's no way stopping them from coming from the roof and come down via the plaster ceiling...

lucky for me the police station is 200m from my house and i can see the guard house from my bedroom window

but that security door does makes sense, at least have it on my masterbedroom... please PM me brand, price and merchant meToo bro
*
I got my solid door made to order from Poh Yep, and lockset I got it myself, its ISEO 5 point lock system.

U need to buy the lockset, then pass it to your door fella so they can factory fit it into the door.

Oh another tip... go home.. look at your kitchen door, does it open OUTWARDS into the street/your backyard?

If it opens outward... where are the hinges... outside right? Then why bother with locks when ppl can just remove the bolts at the hinges and the entire door comes out.

how much that all cost you for the solid door and lock??
for the backyard door.. i have installed those security door.. secure or not i dunno... haha...
*
The door about 1k, the lockset about 1k (I think its MORE, but my friend was doing some high end condo so he grab few units for me at bulk pricing), the reinforced frame not sure u need someone to fix it to your specification.

Those security door should be fine unless they install outwards with hinges exposed la... but some I see comes with hidden or inside hinges de... also pls oil the lock mechanism every so often cause they are mainly using China lockset.. those tend to be of spiffy quality..

I'm a father of a soon to be 1 year old beautiful girl. whom in his daily life filled with constant diplomatic red tapes between in-laws, parents and wife on the best way to take care of a baby.
