I plan to force him to sit with me in the emergency stair case area until he chill/calm down else we gonna spend time at the staircase till we go home. This is provided that grandma (to note, she's my mom-in-law) is not around lol, when she's around, she tends to disagree with how I plan to deal with my kids.

previous generation have other ways to teaching so might be suit our method...

my boy will requesting to bring him to toy shop.. but before we are there.. will say to him that only can see, cannot buy... and he is fine with that..
so now every time when he wants to go toyshop.. he will automatic say only see cannot buy... rclxms.gif

its easier to train kids at a young age on limits and boundaries

i did some as well:
1. want to go shopping mall must sit on stroller, if not, we go home...
2. want to go kaikai, must sit on car seat, if not, we go home...

did both once, and he remembers until now... first time was really troublesome lar, i stay in shah alam... almost reach subang toll he started making noise don't want to sit on the car seat... we u-turn and drove back home bangwall.gif
but its worth is cos the next day (and thereafter) he sit quietly until we reach MV laugh.gif

my advise is try to train him as earliest as possible if he's ok.... i will definately do it to my 2nd baby if he's ok.
errr..... i am able to train my boy not to drink milk every 2 hours at night after 6 months. he drinks b4 sleep, and cried at 6am for milk which is ok for me since i am getting ready to wake up for work at tht time.
not to mention, the 1st 6 months is totally a nightmare for everyone.... hahaha
i am the one taking care my boy everyday since my wife working outstation, only come back during weekends.
*
another super daddy notworthy.gif

mine also around there, usually will knock out after milk around 730-8pm... sleep all the way till 530-6am...
but don't know why nowadays getting earliear, this morning was 5am doh.gif
maybe its colder during rainy season... got hungry laugh.gif

potty wise, cos he still doesn't know how to say he wants to poo... we'll need to monitor his facial expressions and if he farts more than usual after meal

if we can get him to the toilet bowl on time, then its much easier for us to clean his butt...
unlike still in diapers, shiat will stick all over his butt and to make it worse, he keeps moving around and rolling over and usually will smear some of the crap on his legs and mine bangwall.gif
