QUOTE(nikrizal @ Jan 21 2017, 12:24 PM) Thanks! And yes, Quasar mostly 5.1 For android TV, to get proper 5.1 (DD/DTS) to stream from HD sources, can I stick to Kodi, or better to install SPMC? Coz If Kodi can do the job, i'll just stick to Kodi. A bit malas to install newer stuff now... thx

Hi peeps
I'm using Kodi 17.1 PC Windows 10, Unifi 30mbps. Currently I'm running Exodus and fortunately all tv shows and movies sources run perfectly fine at 1080p 2.0 stereo. No buffering or very limited buffering.
However, if I use Sanctuary (Pandora's Box) - 1080p movies sources with 5.1 surround sound via audio passthrough, will only be good for the first 3 to 5 mins with good surround sound, then it buffers and stops and pauses all the way...which has been very frustrating.
Have tried some reducing buffer recommendation settings via Areas Wizard but the buffer is still there for all HD 5.1 sources.
Haven't tried those paid Real Debrid sources coz wanna keep it at minimal cost for now,a nd rectify this issue first.
Any remedy for this issue guys? Appreciate any feedback.
Thx
ps: On the same PC, for Netflix app (downloaded from Win 10 appstore), all HD 5.1 movies run fine so far.

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Apr 13 2017, 10:36 AM) your experience is real, typical. sanctuary and similar, u can't get the 5.1's easily even if u hv 100mbps. u need VPN or special accounts - u must hv seen the ads in those addon websites. that's the way it is - those developers leech on kodi infra and try to make a buck! the only way to get HD and dd/dts5.1 is the use of quasar addon. noted...will try quasar or vpn then... thx bros
