QUOTE(voncrane @ Oct 24 2017, 12:18 PM) Firstly, while RAM size is important for Kodi, 8GB is simply way overkill and tells that it's either one of those random bs Android boxes or you actually meant ROM. My device has 2GB RAM and is more than sufficient. Other factors come into play, such as network health, server, device hardware + software combo and if it's Kodi friendly or not. Try setting up a custom advancedsettings.xml for your Kodi installation. Might help. Read up on it. QUOTE(voncrane @ Oct 24 2017, 12:19 PM) [quote=AVFAN,Oct 24 2017, 01:04 PM]with that unifi speed, u shud not get buffering in kodi covenant. the videos in covenant are heavily ripped hd, not big files, like 1-3gb only. try quasar... that speed u can even stream files up to 12gb. i suspect u have not turned off hardware acceleration (surface) - find that in kodi settings/video. Thank you guys for the kind suggestion. Will have a look on it. |

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Oct 25 2017, 01:45 AM) just noticed my q10pro auto updated to 17.5 w/o me doing anything. Same as mine, but the sad part Kodi crashes all the time. Won't load. Does that mean i need to self update the app?all is ok. googling a bit, it looks like the problem u faced happened to a lot of users, various boxes. |

QUOTE(voncrane @ Oct 25 2017, 08:32 AM) The effects after an update is the same regardless of done manually or automatically. You need to find the cause of the crashes. Is it due to the device or corrupt files/addon in Kodi. Just curios how do i remove corrupt thingy in Kodi if couldn't get in, is there any other access? Or are you suggesting to uninstall and do fresh installation? Thanks. |

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Oct 25 2017, 10:21 AM) u will need to check the file log and identify the culprit. Noted, will give it a try.then u go into the kodi folder to find that, remove it. if too difficult, try this: yr box q10pro, homescreen has a quick clean app - find it at the bottom left, a "broom". if not there, go to myapps to find it. give it a clean to clear cache, junk files. if still no good, u will have to uninstall complete, reinstall. Thanks |

QUOTE(voncrane @ Jan 8 2018, 07:24 PM) Acestream service/apk running Thanks for the suggestion. Ill give it a try.Plexus addon running Play compatible links.. wait for p2p connections to sync.. Enjoy!! That's weird.. Usually most have problems with audio and not video.. First rule out hardware problems.. Connect directly to the TV is using an AVR and change HDMI cables or source on TV.. Anyway, tried reinstalling the addon and problem still persist? If you've tried this and it still doesn't work. Try clearing out your Kodi cache (not data on android devices cuz this will wipe your installation). |
