with that unifi speed, u shud not get buffering in kodi covenant.
the videos in covenant are heavily ripped hd, not big files, like 1-3gb only.
try quasar... that speed u can even stream files up to 12gb.

i suspect u have not turned off hardware acceleration (surface) - find that in kodi settings/video.

Seems it's OS related then.. Cuz same as you reported.. Just tested multiple live streams and the official YouTube addon doesn't stutter..

currently i'm running rpi 2 with osmc. facing alot of lag and massive slowdown compared to when i first installed osmc a year ago. previous before osmc i was using openelec which i still find ......is damn bloody good.

i will swap back to openelec next week and let u all know of whether osmc > openelec or viceversa.
anyway my top picks for addons are

1 - bob (but loading slowwwwwwww gila coz i eneabled gif)
2 - poseidon (quick and nice to replace covenant and gurzil)
3 - fantastic (poseidon first then only fantastic)
4 - delorean (live tv mostly working which is fabulous) [replacing old enigma]
5 - icdrama for cinis
anyone got anything else beside icdrama addon ah ?

i really miss phoenix. i was a huge huge fan and user of phoenix before it shut down and i moved to bob. even now bennu also sot sot jor. sigh. will wait for their fork to come out.

Yaka? Ok ok I go try. Got laggy bo ? Osmc is quite jilakak these days. My advice is to stay away from osmc for now. I've never tried libreelec scared need manual updating.

hi guys, I understand the source of free streaming don't always work and the workable add-on changes time to time.
Hope to get update from your guys, any reliable movies add-on for now?

I am using neptune rising and placenta, they worked fine last few months not every time but at least still can watch from time to time.
This few weeks, I could not get any success resources to watch most of the 2017 movies. I tried few movies with all the sources available but none work. ( I was looking for at least HD sources).

Last time I tried quasar before but my mibox got limited storage and connect to external hdd just doesn't work, the connection to hdd keep dropped.
I don't have much free time to troubleshoot so i gave up.

I might missed somewhr. Pls let me know whr I can pick up or any easy way for me to get back my movie's life. haha

Is Kodi ver 16.1 is still relevant..or better update it to 17.1?
