Hi, I'm using Kodi Quasar on my Q10 Pro box but it keeps telling me I do not have enough space in my download path. I'm only trying to watch a 720p show which is 1GB. I don't install many apps in my box and don't have any large files. I know my box has 16GB of space so I do not know why Quasar is giving that message. Any one has experienced the same thing and have a fix for this?

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Jan 18 2018, 11:17 PM) typically, after firmware and a normal set of apps, u hv 8-9gb available. quasar is not wrong, u r running out of storage - becos of unwanted saved files buildup. this happens if u hv set quasar to save previous videos. or by accident, by wrong clicking, they get saved. what to do: .. get into the files with a file manager - es file manger or some other... find org.xbmc.kodi... remove/delete them in the torrents folder. .. check yr quasar settings - set it NOT to save after download or after playing. Thanks a lot. That worked!

QUOTE(voncrane @ Jan 19 2018, 12:16 AM) Check storage settings and actual free storage left on device... Either download path is full or your box is actually near full but you are unaware.. Time for clean up and yes, as suggested.. To avoid such, set the addon to NOT save/keep files when done. It'll delete automatically. Thanks a lot

One other question for you kodi experts out there. So I can't watch any streams larger than 8gb on Quasar because my Q10 int HDD is only 16GB. I have got an old 1TB SATA HDD I can format and use. Would installing that help me solve this problem? And is there a specific download path for Quasar to make use of this hard disk?

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Jan 19 2018, 04:01 PM) U r thinking right. Yes, u can do that. The 16gb is internal storage in a card. You can go to quasar setting to specify the DL path to an external hdd via usb or the internal hdd if is installed. A folder named tddownloads will be created and used for this path. My exp, the int sata hdd way works better. With good speed, u can do big files... my best was a 30gb 4k video. Since u hv a sata drive, use it. For sata drive formatting, installation, best u discuss in himedia thread as it is q10pro specific. Note there r only a few boxes with this feature... i can count only 3 in the market. https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1849024/+3280Thanks AVFAN! I have read an article on futoku site recommending how to format. I will try that out.
