Do a clean install again.. Download Quasar zip from official website..Arm version.. Also download the Burst zip from the official website. Manually install both zips.

Check...

Service settings... expert...control... allow remote... both are set on.

Download zips using a computer from their respective websites (not repo) and transfer via USB..? To avoid a corrupted download.

Darn.. Unsure what else to recommend besides a fw factory reset..    Normally, a clean install and reinstalling the zip files should be good.

Better than Quasar?

Tried as i could.. Couldn't get either Quasar or Elementum to run on my Android powered device.. So sad.. Have to rollback to 17.6 till Elementum gets an update that allows it to work. Quasar's dev has been silent for the better part of a year now and i don't expect an update from him. Just glad he pushed a stable addon before stopping.

Even on 17.6, Elementum refused to install and run properly.. Kept throwing a crash notification upon each start up. Tried with updated to and freshly installed 18.0 and still kept crashing. Quasar works, so I rolled back. How? Simply uninstall the 18.0, install 17.6 apk (downloadable from Kodi's website) and restore backup.. Back in business..

Yeah thanks... Actually fixed it on mine earlier.. Just been busy with life, primary work, etc, and didn't get around to completing a video tutorial.. For others who still facing issues? Here's the step by step tutorial on how to fix it.


No surprise there. But it's always good to have decent options of the same thing.. Keep all sides on their toes.  .. At least you are happy.. Good.
Good thing is that he has built it much further than Quasar was and with the way these addons work? It's hard to completely disable em.. Big Media can only try to go after the devs and force their hands to stop development. Hopefully, like elgatito & scakemyer before him.. Someone else takes up the challenge to fork and make it better. Till then or when it really breaks down? It'll remain my numba 1 addon. 
Haha...Classic example of if it ain't broke.. Don't fix it.. Although, having used both extensively? I still prefer Elementum.

KODI Experts, recently kodi19 has been updated and my previous addons like "Crew" and Exodus" no more working. Anyone here knows the latest links for these addons that would work with kodi19?
