Hi! Anyone using Kodi with a VPN? I just signed up with Private Internet Access VPN and the speed is horrible! Tried a few different servers and it's either laggy or keeps buffering. Only good thing is that it allows me to access geo-blocked sites.

QUOTE(Ngto @ Jun 27 2016, 11:19 AM) Don't use one. You on Trial or already paid in full ? Thanks... I can always ask for refund within the first week if I am not satisfied. Like I said, it allows access to addons which are geo-blocked (like VEVO, or Netflix, Hulu etc)... but streaming is unbearable now. T_TShould use one which allows you trial period first before committing. Btw, most Kodi links don't require VPN. Edited typo error from can't to can. -.-" This post has been edited by bigbear: Jun 27 2016, 12:09 PM |

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Jun 27 2016, 12:34 PM) as said, kodi does not require any VPN. OK thanks! so VPN is irrelevant to this Kodi thread. but you can start a new thread on VPN's as i don't see one yet. some have reported great success with paid VPN or DNS for other apps. i tried a couple of free ones - basically useless. |

No, VPN for VEVO channels and whatever other stuff that is geo-blocked, and also to mask actual IP.
As mentioned in this thread, there's no need to use VPN for Kodi (if you are accessing your own media), but if you watch a lot of streaming stuff from everywhere, it's better to be safe. |

Hi guys! Just recently mucked around with KODI and would ask for recommendation on a good Home Plug powerline adapter. I've got Unifi installed in my room and the TV is in the living room. Wifi will be not that great in living room area for KODI purposes, so thinking of getting a powerline adapter to plug ethernet into my Android box.
