Exodus is the successor to genesis.

Exodus works better than salts.

If your exodus is not working, there are reasons.

You need to describe a few things for others to understand to try to help...

.. what device
.. what broadband speed
.. wifi or ethernet
.. what other apps u using
.. are other apps streaming good or just as bad

All seems to be in order.

If you are on kodi 16.1,  Exodus should work fine.

Try clearing kodi cache at device settings.

Last resort, erase all kodi, reinstall fresh.
One thing if users have not noticed... last couple of weeks, some major clampdown on provider sites. Some of them may be linked to kodi, so can expect some problems. Just have to keep looking for links and sites that work.
