Been mentioned earlier.. Completely uninstall previous providers, managers and unofficial repository.. What you need to run Quasar now is the Official repo, Quasar addon and Quasar burst addon. Having older stuff installed will only mess with its performance.

Only have one problem with icdrama. I tried to click "married but available drama ep6" it pop out a message "failed can't resolve the URL"

Hi guys, anyone manage to install kodi into the latest unifi box? i just installed unifi yesterday and there is no google play store (after auto updates). I saw the icon before the updates, when the agent doing first setup.

So i tried to do factory reset (press and hold red power button like in the tutorial) but doesn't seem to work. Maybe TM disabled it too.

My question:

1. Any other way/button to "hard reset" the stb to factory setting?
2. How to enable install ".apk" files into the stb? (i don't have play store in stb to download and install "es file explorer")

Do you have PVR enable?

go to myaddon>PVR client>PVR simple client>config. check whether it is unable. Disable it if you are not using.

is it possible to auto start Quasar daemon when launch kodi?

and i cant add Quasar shortcut onto the mainscreen, it will auto disappear if i turn off the box

Haha, yeah Leia is on its way.. Been using Krypton exclusively for over a week and so far no issues.. Looks like V17.1 is a keeper and shall be made as default over SPMC.

if u are not "ransomed" by the need for dd/dts, just go 17.1.

the longer u wait, the more trouble u will have with 17.2, 18.0, etc.

best to do backup first (diff people do it in diff ways... i keep copy of org.kodi.xbmc).

u may find a couple of things not working when u update like that.

in my experience, u will need to deal with the maint, advancedsettings.xml and other addons from tvaddons.ag... if u had them.

Yes, you can update via the Play Store and won't lose your addons or their settings.. That's how I went about mine. Of course, you have to backup your current Jarvis installation + apk, in case you have to revert. I'm able to get DD passthrough on Krypton and the audio - video sync I suffered with 17.0 is nonexistent on 17.1. Knocks on wood.

Note: If after the upgrade, Kodi refuses to launch and simply crashes all the time. You may want to delete the guisettings.xml, advancedsettings.xml (I had to do this for my installation...also deleted a conflicting addonsdb file.. Forgotten the exact file name) and confirm that the addons (especially skins) from Jarvis are confirmed compatible with Krypton. Otherwise, you'd have to go manually delete the offending addon or files, etc. You should only do this if you have intimate knowledge of your system and Kodi installation. Else, backup Jarvis.. Uninstall, install Krypton as new and setup from scratch. Might be easier than going through a troubleshooting process like I did.

oic! no need to wait lor. Krypton v17.1 platform much nicer to use. 

If you want to update the white box. Use SPMC v16.4 from playstore. It's compatible with the latest SSL changes. 

SPMC is what Jarvis for Android should have been in the first place.. Can't blame the Kodi devs, as they have been asking for dedicated Android devs to come on board to make it better.. But so far, not so much success.. However, I can confirm that 17.1 is better and has been pretty smooth so far with my needs. Device dependent of course.. YMMV..
