As feared.. Took em only..what.. 2 weeks??.. The Players Klub has adopted the dreaded freemium model.. $5 per month for access to "premium" servers, no ads or forced kickoffs from servers.

The developer now has given the prior bandwidth to the premium users. The free watch is no longer watchable. 

Yup! I only used these TV not long ago.    But used Quasar to watch a movie definitely faster than download the entire files to watch.

Anyway! I have a Live TV apps which has many HD channels, it has TV dramas, variety Shows, Concerts, Movies, 4K Movies, 4K Concerts, 4K documentary etc.

It can replay 4-5hrs pre-recorded vid on each channels. I using it a lot because changing channels is pretty fast. The only down side is when opening the app sometime it might take 20-30sec but once loaded and changing channels it is very smooth.

Oh! is 100% free LIVE IPTV    BUT for HD Sport channels. You need a GOOD VPN to watch these channels because is GEO-blocked.
hahahaa! I didn't post it out because I don't where to post because these is Kodi thread so didn't want to have dispute later. 
NO B.S. I have tested a lot of free IPTV. These app has the best streaming quality.

I googled about how to get local RTM channels on my Android Box .. I was showed the previous v1 of this thread . I YouTube-d many videos and tried few methods but all didnt worked. The latest method I tried was with ares wizard (from a tutorial on YouTube) and it totally changed the interface of my Kodi player.

The Kodi player kept hanging at start up after that. I had to reset everything and clear data, and reinstalled back all my Kodi addons . Urgh.

Do any of you know a working method to get local TV channels on my m9plus android box?

I blame over-popularity and the recent explosion of "Kodi boxes"... Which forced Big Media to step in. Obviously, compared to a lone developer or small dev team, Big Media have world class lawyers and pretty much unlimited funds to fight. So when addon creators and or maintainers can no longer take the heat, they have to surrender..

You cannot directly install an updates.

Add this to your source http://cthlo.github.io/cthlo-kodi-repo/zips/

install the icdrama zip file than only do the update.

1.2.6, 1.2.6.1, 1.2.6.2, 1.2.6.3... in 1 month!

at this rate, many users will just give up...

I tried few addons contain AEC, all are streaming without sound.

Test with quit a number of guides as well to troubleshot and all seem not able to make the sound works.

Anyone manage to view AEC with sound (fyi other channel are ok)?

guys..how big is your Kodi app..mine is like 1G now after  i added the link of the movies provided by OCMAX...is this normal? i only have like 8 addons on Kodi..but my SPMC without the movie link is only about 300Mb..

is elysium working on kodi kryton now? which version is working?

What specifically did you do and how did you do it? As mentioned, the Phoenix addon is already dead. Hey, take some time, go back to page one and read thoroughly. Seems you don't understand what Kodi does and how it works. Start there first.
