Could also mean that there's no Kodi playable media behind that "H.265" link. Could you outline the exact steps you took to get there? So someone else with the azdrama addon installed can test...

In Kodi, select A*dra*a --> Select drama title--> then select the stream (as per photo above)

h265 is a rather new format that is more compressed, stores more - 200mb for a 720p tv show when it is about 1gb with h264.

there are limited videos in h265 now but will incr.

your himedia q16 native player's software decoding can decode h265 files with usb playback.

however, kodi installed in the device cannot decode h265 streams, will not work.

for kodi to decode h265, it needs the right hardware decoding capability found in a limited no. of devices at this time.

and from what i read, himedia q10pro/q5pro is able to do that on kodi becos of a "himedia wrapper apk" that works with kodi.

will be good to know what other devices can stream kodi h265.

h265 will become increasingly common in the next 3 years, a successor to h264.

uhd/4k videos will then be much smaller in size, easier to stream.

You are using that Beelink MiniMXIII, no? If yes, then i supposed the link is not working at all

Separately, how's the 720p quality on the drama? Can still see the pixels?

720p looks ok on my 40" LED TV... Anything lower can really see the pixels...

The Neo U1 is capable of playing H.265 files (hardware decoding).. So as long as there's a playable stream behind it, it's no issue..

It's not better quality per se.. H.265 format basically offers the same pq at a lower bitrate.... Better compression & much smaller sizes... Of course, with such advantages, it requires higher performance during playback..So there is no need watching H.265 encoded videos unless you own the matched hardware facilities. As we know, only limited devices support H.265 codec video playing.
