Thanks for sharing.. I did do all that.. In addition to switching storage methods, mediums, etc.. increased pre-buffer to 150MB and connections limit to 60.. This helped somewhat and I did see speeds of almost 50Mbps at a point.. but it wasn't sustained .. Later addon crashed and had to restart a few times.. I've thrown in the towel till a future update..

agree. kodi is very good when it is fast streaming. if it is slow than you will be fed up as well.

Launch Play Store > Settings > General > Auto-update apps > Select "Don't auto-update apps".

Exactly... I've got my device connected to a Gigabit router via CAT 6 cable.. Speedtest easily 6xxMbps on the box itself.. Quasar & the right file can stream at 300Mbps within a minute..easy.. Elementum struggles to get even 10Mbps.. So nope.. I'm sticking with Quasar + Trakt. Hopefully others can figure out a way to get it to work as fast.. Cuz I'd love to have Leia

after a few more plays, i still can't be sure about the display data...!

but... so far, every one i play, it's smooth, no buffering, even 20gb ones.

Hi guys, just wondering if any of you been having issues with RSS player accessing icdrama link? I haven’t been able to load anything for the past few days, Basically able to see only the menu list but nothing comes up when accessing those sub menus like Tvb, Korean drama, Anime etc. Appreciate if any sifu here can advise. Last time the plugin Exodus was quite popular but got rushed by the authorities. Now got new version of Exodus. Anyone using exodus nowdays? or is it just mostly elementum and quasar here?

OK on my side. Make sure you have Google dns setup at router to begin with. Maybe MCMC has blocked it

Naice. Using redux as well. So far it's a good alternative for streams on openload sites incase torrent ones are gone. Still prefer torrent streams on quasar/elementum as first choice.

Got any recommendations for sports addons?

Swift Streamz has a lot of sports channels. Also RedBox. Both are apk's. In Kodi I use Sparkle/Plexus to find Acestream links.

anyone know how to clear-off the watch history for quasar & quasar burst? The "half-moon/full moon" icon beside the movie title

because due to this "watch history", whenever i try to watch the same movie or continue where i left off (even though by choosing "start from beginning", rather than continue from xxx time), it will keep buffering and show "resolving torrent files", and nothing happens

i cant seem to choose new stream or another torrent file

Press "W" to toggle between "Watched" and "Unwatched". Alternatively, can be done via the Context menu... Highlight content and press 'C', choose the option.

To choose another torrent file? When you try to play the same file, Quasar will ask if you want to use the previously used file?.. Choose No.. Then it'll ignore torrent history and scrape for new links.

When u play a video left half done, it will continue form where it stopped.

Even if u did not save it, It starts loading from that point, not from the start.

Will take same time like starting from beginning, not longer... unless the link is weak.

U can choose another stream if u say no to proposed, it will take u there.


The half moons indicate u played it before; fùll means play was completed, whether u saved the file or not.

I find this feature v good, tells me if i hv watched that episode or not.

On thing, mibox... storage limited... watch out for running out of memory when using quasar.

In addition to what AVFAN wrote. Kodi keyboard shortcuts works across its various platforms, not just on the PC. A couple of us use it on an Android device but with an airmouse/remote that has a keyboard. I suggest you get something similar for your MiBox. Alternatively, you can try pressing and holding down the "enter" button on the MiBox remote, to see if it triggers the context menu. If that doesn't? You'll need a remote with or a standalone keyboard.

Is your mibox android version? Not android tv right? Try to clear your android cache by going to settings, storage and click on cache. See if that works?

MiBox is Android TV OS.. Regardless, clearing the cache won't affect watch history or library state as those aren't stored in the cache.
