ya i am doing the same way. cannot add on using URL already becos Fusion is down. Only can do it manually using repo file

I am using opensubtitle. I didnt login or anything. Just search. So far working well. Subscene as well. I go for any of these two that match the movie haha

i get the subtitles from kodi repo itself under the subtitle folder. I think thats where they come from la hehe. A bit noob. So I just enabled them and then can do dy. No login in.

I actually wiped out all the data in my kodi, then only update to Krypton. Then I used a new build, which is no limits build. Then everything is there. All the repos and addons. Then I added RSS, ICdrama and etc. Kautim. Can watch dy

to be honest, Krypton is a lot laggy-ier than Jarvis. Jarvis smoother. But because Krypton is safer, I updated it.
