But if you doesn't want to pair with any web site. the best is to uncheck the provider that popping up those pairing window.

I'm using Kodi 17.1 PC Windows 10, Unifi 30mbps. Currently I'm running Exodus and fortunately all tv shows and movies sources run perfectly fine at 1080p 2.0 stereo. No buffering or very limited buffering.

However, if I use Sanctuary (Pandora's Box) - 1080p movies sources with 5.1 surround sound via audio passthrough, will only be good for the first 3 to 5 mins with good surround sound, then it buffers and stops and pauses all the way...which has been very frustrating.

Have tried some reducing buffer recommendation settings via Areas Wizard but the buffer is still there for all HD 5.1 sources.

Haven't tried those paid Real Debrid sources coz wanna keep it at minimal cost for now,a nd rectify this issue first.

Any remedy for this issue guys? Appreciate any feedback.

ps: On the same PC, for Netflix app (downloaded from Win 10 appstore), all HD 5.1 movies run fine so far.

In my findings, Netflix requires about 5Mbps to stream 1080p 5.1 content.. Like YouTube, they boast highly capable servers across the world including in Malaysia, used to serve content.. Hence, much easier streaming.. Good to test your connection and media capabilities, but not for 1 - 1 comparisons with lesser/illegal hosts; they aren't powerful enough and if too much load, tend to cause issues to receivers.. Your case does read like server issues.. Try a paid VPN and if still no improvement.. It's possibly source related and can't do much besides finding another source.

Quasar Burst. I skipped to install the second time due to it hogged my kodi the 1st time i installed when it prompted. My Quasar now is burst free.

And how are you using Quasar without the accompanying burst addon? Cuz that is needed to query providers.

No such issue on my device running either Jarvis or Krypton.

Quasar made my box hang that day while loading a movie. This is after I upgraded to Krypton, I will continue to monitor if it still persists and will reinstall this add-on if required.

That's another problem with Quasar. It will scan my ext drive HD everytime I open KODI. I have thousand of vid. Imagine how long everytime it takes. LOL

That's why I don't use Quasar.

your experience is real, typical.

sanctuary and similar, u can't get the 5.1's easily even if u hv 100mbps.

u need VPN or special accounts - u must hv seen the ads in those addon websites.

that's the way it is - those developers leech on kodi infra and try to make a buck!

the only way to get HD and dd/dts5.1 is the use of quasar addon.
