Uninstall exodus. is useless now if you wanted to watch 1080p. same goes to Specto. the developers seems to change the search link and is not working with KODI below <17. the hyppTV STB can only rung with KODI v16.1.

Inside dandy repo. video addons. you can find. 1080p movies, Movie Magic, Openload. which is fast loading and still able to watch movies up to 1080p quality.


btw! like fruitie said. you don't need to root the hyppTV STB.

But I mentioned earlier..Was able to get DD passthrough with my device... there are a number of devices out there that can passthrough HD audio on Krypton. One's device either supports it or it doesn't.

FYI, installing an apk does not a rooted box make.. Also, appears you skipped the 1st page.. Go thru that first, and at least a couple pages of the thread to understand what you've gotten into.

So TV box is better than a laptop? I got my laptop hooked up to my TV.

In my experience... YES!!.. see previous post as to why.

Plus, with a box placed at the TV area, one can work on the laptop (say on the couch) with content playing off the box connected to the TV. Don't have to be tethered to the TV and or fiddle with multiple screens projection, etc.

Every device is designed n made for a primary purpose.

Dvd, bluray players are meant for playing discs alto u can do some internet stuff.

Laptops and pc's are meant for serious work, not so much for entertainment alto u can.

Handphones are for phone calls, messaging and quick browsing alto u can watch movies.

Tablets are... u know.



Android boxes are meant for entertainment... online streaming and local playback... on a tv.

Alto u there is browser, email, facebook functions.

I'm hesitant to upgrade Krypton on my other Android box as I heard that it "might" not work for 1gb RAM with older CPU models. Not sure if this is true but I would like to hear from those who have already made an upgrade for those users with 1gb boxes. Thanks!

It is.. Primary device is the Minix Neo U1.. Post# 2101.

Those are just a few addons and with a decent connection, can be installed and setup in about 5 minutes. Most public builds will definitely have a lot more "crap" in em.. So you are better off making a backup for restoration later or create your own build.. Easier.

I'm assuming here that the other important requirement to run Krypton is being omitted.. Must be Android Lollipop and above... I doubt that an older 1GB RAM device would be running such.

guys how to add subtitles for real movie add on? build in eng sub doesnt work n i tried opensub to search but come out with some weird titles. sub for other add on working fine though.

Install these custom opensubtitles. but you have to uninstall you previous oepnsub first and it will work.
