but not so much movie content.. 3d movie also can.. great! now i can utilize my tv

Silky smooth, mine 50mbps (become 100mbps very soon 😎)

4K contents not that plenty, but at least u can try some like Angry Bird, Allegiant among others.

What box and android version u guys hv?

Becos i would think such big files will need good speed and higher versions to work to deliver to the 4ktv.

Unless they are compresed to like 10gb or so which will not be good.

*File Manager... Add Repo... Name as Merlin Repo or ***.... Install from zip file... Select Merlin... Wait for repo to be installed proper...Install from repo... install addon.. Profit!.

im using zero cache and setting my kodi to transfer addon data to my micro sd.. last time it does not work as my internal drive is almost full and always stuck in the middle of movie..

I had the same issued as u... Try to install provider, but all failed no matter in tradition provider or new provider... Very frustrating on it...

.. i had some success with android 5.1, got minutes of several 4k videos in merlin project m.
.. what i saw, compared with my own uhd4k-netflix4k-bdmv collection, i will say the video quality is good. as they are compressed, they probably have some losses or are actually upscaled 4k rather than true 4k. but i cannot say they are better than the full bdmv upscaled by my 4ktv, about the same to my eyes.
.. with 30mbps, there should be no buffering issues but i had it.
.. using advancedsettings.xml did NOT help; no buffering with 3D and other videos in the addon; quasar download data also showing very fast, no problem.
...i conclude the 4k video links are currently having heavy traffic or are getting certain blocks or not maintained well.
.. however, if anyone using 50-100mbps are getting them smoothly NOW, it will mean only that speed range can do the job.
.. android 4.4 will give judders, no good.

i will play with it again in the next few days, see if it improves.

anyone with >20mbps, 4ktv, android 5 or higher should try it, for learning, at least.
